Totally disagree that EC can not be traded until 1.20-1.21 levels. Few months ago till this day, no better than this time period to trade EC
70+pips per day, what do you need more?
A trader who trade technically can benefit from this range on longs and shorts. Who only want to long and do not know how and where to long would definitely find it very difficult to trade 300-400 pips far of the peg level. Would prefer any long on 50-150 pip from peg.
Who is afraid to Long on 1.22** and 1.23** levels thinking of back to 1.20-1.21 levels, and don't know technical trading, but fundamentals and rumors, why don't you for example open a long position on any current support level and another one but short position on a resistance level for half the lot size, hedging but Long position exceeds the short(double lot), when EC goes up you win and if it goes back to 1.20-1.21 you close the short for a big profit, leave the long for comeback(anytime success).
Just a suggestion for who are standing on the side line, if you had done that from months in that same 1.21-.26 range, picking a middle price in between, how much profit you had earned? EC had not ever been better than recently for profiting on both sides.
If not of SNB 20 June meeting, could had said short EC until 1.2195-00 or 1.2165(first supports). But, going back to the rallies before SNB meetings(now holding EC from dropping), make me stand cautious.
1.241* must be removed before any optimistic further advance to 1.256* and 1.264*
Very Weird to find a fight going on 1.232*(other than today's res. level) when there are better levels of resistance like 1.236* and 1.241*(potential)
For now, am not optimistic until the dollar regain its power and Euro keeps on moderate.
The whole drop in EC related to UJ and UC drop. Yen and Franc strong, Euro Moderate Dollar Weak= EC down. Dollar Strong Euro Moderate= EC Up
No trader must believe the myth of Eurozone problems solution= EC Up. Here we are on EU 1.33+ but EC 1.22-1.23 When EU was 1.28-1.29 EC was 1.25-1.26
There had always been distribution in prices(EU 1.40 may mean EC 1.21 or UC 0.98 may mean EC 1.25), wide difference of 700 pips from current prices but EC would move only 200pip. I believe that is because EC price controlled by the SNB, just like what BOJ had been doing, when decision comes you may see EU 1.32 UC 0.98 or maybe 1.*? = EC 1.35 or 1.50
In the mean time(today-friday), 1.2330- 1.2370 would decide what direction to have next. EC below 1.2330 = 1.2195-00 & 1.2165 next. EC above 1.2370 = 1.241* and 1.25* next
