DislikedHow Far for Yen Pairs? These look to me still like ramping up with good volume at each of the resistance points, the US coming on line and getting into the trade. The action in the lower timeframes suggests to me lower prices to come. Red line my average entry on this pair. I am still holding out having not taken profits at the low.... We shall see. {image} {image}Ignored
DislikedUChf Long Trade: Entered long, Scout, M1 PVSRA indicating support around 0.936x. This might go lower. If so, I will add. {image}Ignored
Disliked{quote} EU Short Trade: Added short trade #4, a Sonic Scout as MMs moved price back towards the upper whole number wtih increased trading at higher prices. Revised TP. {image}Ignored
Disliked{quote} EU: It is drifting lower. A deeper range? We will just have to wait and see what the MMs are up to. When PVSRA is not clear, that is all we can do, wait and continue to analyze. Eventually PVSRA will again result in clear indications. Another idea comes to mind. AU and GU are being held up, so you'd think EU would be too,....held up while MMs add shorts. But how about this... ...the MMs let EU down, slowly so shorters get on board before it goes to low. Later, the MMs whipsaw the price quite high to take many out and get that liquidity for...Ignored
Disliked{quote} EU Short Trade: Added short trades #5, #6, #7, all Scouts. News, sudden large move up with very high volume at and above half number = MMs bears. {image}Ignored
Disliked{quote} maybe i should rephrase as. i don't understand the need to branch out of the original sonic r system. but my guess would be that it helps to visualise the bigger movements as well as introduce one into the world of swing trading. not sure if you've heard of nanningbob's 10.4 system at stevehopwoodforex forum and captain jack but it would be along the same lines of trading MM and understanding the big picture.(similar to what you are doing holding into drawdown). anyway i'm like somewhere at page 300+ of the 3000+. and enjoy the clarity of...Ignored
DislikedEJ Sonic old skool (class of 2009) SL Entry TP1/TP2 as marked. {image}Ignored
Disliked{quote} EU Short Trade: Added short trades #5, #6, #7, all Scouts. News, sudden large move up with very high volume at and above half number = MMs bears. {image}Ignored
Disliked{quote} EU Short Trade: Added short trades #5, #6, #7, all Scouts. News, sudden large move up with very high volume at and above half number = MMs bears. {image}Ignored
DislikedUJ Short Trade: Entered short, a Scout based on price being popped above local SR with relative high trading during the event, indicating the MMs are bears. {image}Ignored
Disliked{quote} UJ Short Trade: Added short trade #2, a Scout as price was moved above whole number on high trading. {image}Ignored
Disliked{quote} UJ Short Trade: Added short trade #3, a Scout based on my PVSRA. Looking for one more Scout if bear MMs get price to half number. Edit: Added short trade #4, Scout. Price has not made it to half number and might not, so I took #4 entry here. {image}Ignored
Disliked{quote} UJ Short Trade: Added short trade #5, a Scout. Suddenly, out of nowhere, the MMs drove the price up hard to above whole number again with high volumes up there. There I added this Scout. I see no major news, but I recognize what a quick push and higher volumes can mean, especially when this is occuring as the MMs hike the price up thru a whole number. The MMs are either closing longs or opening more shorts. It seems a poor time to look for liquidity to do anything, but the bear MMs have been executing a pullup to take advantage of the low...Ignored
Disliked{quote} UJ Short Trade: Added short trade #6, a Scout based again on M1 showing the MMs driving price suddenly hard 25+ pips to get it up to the half number area, where immediately much higher trading followed, proving the MMs are bears driving price up to add shorts again. {image} {image}Ignored
Disliked{quote} UJ Short Trade: Added short trade #7, a Scout based again on PVSRA as MMs drove price above the 3/4 number. These bear MMs might eventually take the price above the upper whole number. I'm getting tired of waiting for that, so I'm setting a pending sell order just above it in case I go to sleep and then it happens. {image} {image}Ignored
Disliked{quote} UJ Short Trade: Added short trade #8, my last one, a Scout above the whole number as I had hoped for. Now done. Now wait. {image}Ignored
Disliked{quote} UJ Short Trade: Added short trade #9, a Scout. Very late in the US session the MMs suddenly drove up the price almost another 50 pips. No reason for the action except as shown by PVSRA. The MMs pushed the price up above the half number with increasing volume all the way up and with high volumes coming afterwards as price began to drop from the highs, both signs the MMs are bears and heavily selling in the wee late hours of the week. Why? MMs don't push up price to buy more heavily as it rises and tops off! Above half numbers is where MMs...Ignored
Disliked{quote} UJ Short Trade: Added short #10, Scout. M1 PVSRA shows MMs drove price up (Price consideration) followed by higher volumes (Volumes consideration) when the price rose above the half number (S&R consideration), indicating the MMs are bears hiking price to add shorts. While I have more than the usual invested into this trade, I actually consider it to be of diminishing risk now that the price has struck below my previous average a number of times. Now my average is even higher. Added short #11, Scout, exactly same reason when MMs drove price...Ignored
DislikedNote that I am not completely against the idea of scout trades. I think it has a valuable place in a choppy market (80% of the time). I would love to hear more input from sonic on how he in fact trades sonic setups. Why or why not he takes trades etc... I would also implore others to not blindly follow TaHs trades if you are a beginner. It is a high risk, high reward game. It will lead to one thing - account destruction.Ignored
DislikedMan, we're seeing the reaction from the real world...people hoping other successful people fail, and "celebrate" others' temporary mistakes/failures. Come on guys, TAH is expressing his own views, his own trades in real time, and that alone is worth respecting. I gotta admit, he has quite the ego, but ego only comes AFTER success, so there's NOTHING wrong with it AT ALL!! If anyone feels TAH's comments are worthless, might as well not coming to this thread, since he's one of the creators of the Sonic.R system. I'm not a Sonicer myself, but I always...Ignored
Disliked{quote} GU Short Trade: Added short trade #4, a Sonic Scout as MMs moved price back above whole number on high relative trading (M1 confirmed). {image}Ignored
