Hi guys,

I'll be posting live trades that I take using Sonic system and a couple of other systems. All trades taken are based on basic technical analysis. That being, support and resistance, Elliot Waves and a dash of volume.

I mainly trade on the 15 minute time frame but also trade on the longer time frames should the opportunity present.

The aim of this thread is to show how I will achieve a ROI of 25% for the period May to 31st December 2013. It will help in keeping me accountable and may also help someone along the way.

Feel free to post any thoughts.

My first small trade for today (1% risked) is on the Aussie. Possibly a little late. After failing to push past 1.0385 on the second attempt it has headed south.

EP - 1.0352 SL - 1.0390 TP - Half position at 1.0331 and other half trailing by 30 pips.

I'm also looking at shorting the euro should some decent PA eventuate.

Great start to the journal. Built into the position and doubled my exposure to AUDUSD and had a nibble going long GBPUSD. Both have made some decent profit. Will share my myfxbook linked page shortly.

Another great session trading. I went long EUR/JPY after it found some decent support at around 127.75. I collected 160 odd pips. You can track my trading here:https://www.myfxbook.com/portfolio/f...estment/561191

So I made some great returns trading week. I returned 4.22% for the week. This was just using simple sonic wave setups on the 15 minute time frame. The pairs I traded this week using the Sonic System were the AUDUSD, GBPUSD and USDCHF. I also took a small trade on the EURJPY when it found strong support on the 15 min chart with strong accumulation and volume occurring at those levels. This was a handy trade netting me 150 odd pips or roughly 1.2%.

I'll endeavor to post more charts next week so we can really generate discussion on setups and outcomes.

Also, check out my trading results at http://www.myfxbook.com/members/Fine...estment/561191
I'm posting the link, so you know it's the real deal and by putting myself 'out there' I am so much more accountable.

Have a great weekend guys.

Quite a simple trade to start the day. I'm entering GBP/USD at current levels on the basis of a classic sonic trade.

I'm also taking a small trade shorting EUR/JPY at levels of high resistance in a small scalp trade.

I'm looking to buy AUD/USD sometime today. Preferably at around long term support of 1.02ish and the bottom of the range. I don't think the RBA will cut rates tomorrow and I'd like to take some small exposure going in to that...

First tp hit on the GBP/USD short +32 pips and letting the other half run, trailing stop of 25 pips.

The EUR/JPY short at resistance is currently 45 pips up. Trailing that by 30 pips.

Bought some Aussie down at 1.0220. After hitting support at 1.0210. Looking for this to head higher tomorrow if the RBA keeps rates unchanged which I suspect will happen.

Don't bother with the sonic system it is complete garbage, they hold massive draw downs and just average into losing positions, the basic entry is a joke having you enter right at resistance when you should be entering at support and don't even get me started on tick volume

Maybe they have an ulterior motive in teaching newbs how to trade like crap, you will not find any veterans in that thread other then the 2 proponents of this sham.

It is a road to nowhere.
