expect a sharp fall to happen sometime next week in all risk pairs...

Today's been great for me... my long on UJ took profit at 79, and 79.5, one last long awaiting tp at 80 though i might slowly push the TP up on this one...

All and all... great week for me, except Ben's Talk of death that happened late thursday, but the upmove not strong enough to turn my bias, still bearish on EURUSD, GBPUSD, AUDUSD (this pair is bound for a fall for a really long time... as soon as China stop propping...
0.95 that IS long term, I'll be retired by then and can trade full time . China is just making its move into Europe now as well I believe, which should provide a lot of confidence? What is your take on that? It seems they want to buy up and take over the world as their long term view? They have just about more cash than anyone else?

Price action short term consolidating in pennant, some prefer to see them as bullish continuation patterns- I regard them as neutral on shorter timeframes and rather see how they break because pattern becomes less reliable as price trades towards the point. Momentum indicators turning neutral rather than bearish.

I'm expecting flat too Flatfish. I am just shorting Monday, I think we will be flat for a while 5644 could prove hard to break but daily MACD not primed for a bullish turn either.

China is not making its move into Europe... as much as they want to help Europe, china is not dumb enough to help europe now...
Chinese investors are more likely to BUY European goods when they are rock bottom price... i mean like so cheap that an island in greece worths only 1000 EURO...

China has its own problems, perhaps you dont know but one long lasting issues is their house prices and inflationary problems huh...

as much as china tries to adapt to economic openness, their strict regulations in financial trades and exchange rates even the publication of financial figures goes through the government... i only know all too well this is the fact only because i've been raised in Hong Kong and this is the stuff you read in the News everyday in Hong Kong about their Neighbouring Big Brother China...

Anyways glad to be back in london... first week back, so much stuff to sort out... especially this retarded HSBC UK... they decided to close my account after they decided to pay up some debt my DEBIT account incurred (how does a debit account incur debt is not known to my mind) so i got pissed off with them and decided to open an account with barclays instead... which takes atleast a week time to get everything ready... then i still need to pay my bills for my Mobile phone which is quite the hassle if i dont have a bank account... sooo yea its been a hectic week, but a rewarding week trading wise... made about 1000 usd from the 2 USDJPY longs that took profit this week not too shabby for a 19 yr old student huh...

just looking a bearish repeat. After that who knows. Strong 1 hr bullish move against the daily MACD should produce a correction from the trendline. After that, I am flat.

I also shorted but forgot about the weekend close.My SL is at 1.5865.Do you think that sunday night opens lower or higher than friday close ? Is there any way to guess sunday opening being lower or higher than friday close on friday night ?

it will jump higher , at least to 1.5970... then when it comes to friday GU will close lower..

I wouldn't have a clue about predicting platform gaps sorry. My SL will be above Friday high. I am only looking for the 1 hr TL on this trade, after that it could well shoot up again and test 5925 again. I think next week will be flat as we are between strong resistance and support and my daily MACD is reflecting this.

it is not just an assumption..this is base on what i've traded previously...been in fx for 5yrs.. so, i trade with what i see...i knw it's difficult to make ppl understand... but at least i closed all my trades yesterday with 949pips for a week....

Do you know any way to guess anything ? Lol !! You can follow www.xe.com during the weekend and this may give you an indication of whether price will gap at your broker open, and if so whether that will be up or down.

Yesterday was the past
Another subdued pip rabge on Friday (67% of 20 day atr) and a subdued pip range on the week (74% of 20 week atr.) Friday's daily candle closed bullishly and the Weekly candle as a bullish hammer type candle ?

The Weekly t/f remains in an overall price action (opa) range making a H @ 5927 so far above the last LH, the recent such range really extending from 6165-5243.

The Daily t/f has seen a HH at 5927 and since then has printed a L below it's last HL, that L coming at a previous Daily swing hi zone (previous resistance and around the 38.2% of the recent 5243-5917 move up.) Despite this L this t/f looks somewhat bullish although noot in a classic opa uptrend yet.

The 4hr has seen 2 x HL's and a HH printed, and price closed on Friday just off that HH. This t/f is in an opa uptrend.

upward movement. See red lines on price and stochastic indicator

Following from “Forex–Trade Updates (17 Feb 2012)”, GBP/USD formed a support level at 1.56445 (that’s why I long GBP/USD). The risks that I aware is 200 SMA resistance and 1.58821-1.6000.
