It was a night those who had a pair of steel ones.

Some suggesting today will be quieter.. Is that because they have no blood left ?

Range 1.0000 - 1.0200 a possibility as liquidity thins - Asia 1.0050 -1.0145

EUR/AUD @ 1.2925 no follow through on the break of 1.2900 disappoints.

However when we get historical lows it usually comes on a second attempt.

You are right on the euraud. Very dissapointing price action after break down..

If you think you can or cannot do it you are correct
DailyFX puts 1.05xx on the map for audusd - rightly of wrongly

If they are right then it means:

the stock market will go up
risk is on
commodity currencies will outperform
euraud and gbpaud will tank.

The key here is do we see the dow breaking 12300 soon

i wouldnt go long on this yet until 1.003 is tested. i feel like its being propped up by gold right now although I could be wrong. the london session tonight will probably dictate how things will progress.

liquidity thin, accelerating volatility. some of the 1m candles on all the pairs are laughable

e.g. 15pip candles spikes on aud/usd, this wouldnt happen in a good liquidity environment without any news flow

currently long @ 1.00792 from 5 hrs ago. The market is not showing me great confidence in my decision. I guess I have a little hopium too..lol. S/L still @ 1.00485. I will look to move it later, at least to entry level. Still in wait and see mode.

the positive news LTRO is finished 24 hrs ago. with only some US GDP figures tonight, these things will fall if they are not up to scratch.

the lack of funding from IMF is a concern, 150billion is not enough to fix EZ problem.

at the moment ranging in thin conditions, already well off the peak.

I'd say daily correction has come and it;s now time to look back up.

i think it is likely to continue. down 35 ticks since noted.

AUD has not benefited from any positive news, EZ woes are just simmering after the rejection of the LTRO today, anecdotal retailer reports i read on DJ news wires are negative... one thing i dont see is scope for 1.05.. i could see a retest of 1.02.. the important kicker is that real money is ditching the AUD in force relative to 6 months ago.

EUR has been in a 10 tick range for like 6 hours..

its a tough call. i almost want to go long as there is option resistance at 1005 and 1000. however, even AU stocks are down even after moodys re-affirmed their AAA. nothing to do now but hurry up and wait

Seems to me by your action and your remarks that you are purely a discretionary trader?

That is to say, you don't have a plan, don't know where your are entering, exiting or placing your stop loss, if you even do that?

Any risk management in your trading? Apart from "I can deal with that"?
