90% is HUGE, congrats! I had the same approach with losses, until I was forced to learn them for good, lol. I only trade for about 3-4 months now, but I guess it all comes down to:

- discipline
- money management
- emotional control ( fear / greed)
- patience for finding the best entry / exit points

Other than that, looks like a pretty fun way to make money. And meet new and interesting people.

Digging through their site, it does looks like a rerun of an older thing now...

Besides my desire and enjoyment of helping others succeed in this business, that's my primary reason for starting this thread. A nice respectful place for all to share and learn without worrying about trolls ruining your day.

And you definitely did it, PT! I enjoy being here a lot and, as a man who started, managed and successfully sold two big forums (one with 20k and the other with 110k active members) I know how hard it is to create and manage a clean thread. And with almost 1000 pages, wow!

90% successful trades made me a losing trader. Something to think about.

Anyway, it is not as if he was distancing from Eurozone problems. He fired almost all bullets. Lowered interest rates, lowered collateral requirements, launched new 2 year refinancing operations. Thats a lot of liquidity. Imo this should provide short term boost to the markets and long term weakness of EUR. But markets just see it as sign of weakness. Or they were waiting for that bond purchases.

for those fundamental analyst in this thread, have you looked into
Foreign Exchange market Micro structure

in a nutshell

it indicates the market's current price reflects the true market value at all times.

however, fundamentals whether knowingly or unknowingly will make it into the equation by market participant order flow or dealer positioning.
inter market maker trading, and so on.

so this accounts for times where every one is saying " why the fuck are the markets going up?"

the market is NEVER wrong EVER the price you see is the current value.

that is very true

sometimes i nail it 95% and end up losing for the week


success rate, has nothing to do with it
pips have nothing to do with it

It was very well noticed in this thread... and I believe the Telegraph (of all rags) did a nice piece about it.
However all other media outlets kept hush about it.

the markets are never wrong... the interpretation can be.
