Dislikedatr signal is just checking if atr5 is higher than atr25. thats whats inside the code. so i put 2 atr indicators on my chart and checked according to that..Ignored
DislikedYes....of course you would not place a buy stop at the same figure, however the point I was trying to make for the new people is that ...given the amount of signals that is generated you need to make sure you allow a buffer of spread plus to the signal candle..
I wont post again...Ignored
DislikedFXpro is who i use, i got this info from James16 thread as they traded daily so the close was very important.Ignored
Dislikeddon't you think that 3 buy arrows in a row which the high of the candle getting lower from the first is not obvious enough that you can call that a fake signal.Ignored
DislikedSo the 'best' time for H4 or daily candle close is with a broker time of GMT+2? That's the time most traders (or the big money) use?
Would have thought it would have been either NY or London.
Thanks for the heads-up, I'll have a look at the James16 thread (not been there in a while).

DislikedI have added the option to send an email to the MTF HAS ADR indicator as i cannot watch the screen all the time. So now i get a msg when the arrow alert occurs.
This does assume you now how to setup sending emails from MT4 as it uses the built-in SendMail function. There is a thread in Plaftorm Tech that describes how, i use stunnel on my network to email my gmail account on my phone
Also, i have made 3 winning trades 2 on EU and 1 on GU though they weren't for full 10pips as today the market is too ranging and i opened them near the pivot!...Ignored

DislikedHey!
I just added Mail alert to the MTF HAS (If you allow, Udine)
In order for it to work you must have your "test mail" working. You can check in options in your MT4.Ignored
DislikedPB,
I hope that this is not the only reason for choosing a broker

Dislikedi understand, but you say backtested, but you can only scroll back on the chart this wont change atr will it, because all ur doing is scrolling back, did u use some sort of simulator?Ignored
DislikedI am unfamiliar with a couple of the indicators, so please excuse the questions......I understand that the ATR and RM up/down must be correct color at time of trade.
1. Does that mean both the ATR5 and ATR25 need to be same color and do the ATR values have any significance?
2. Do both RM up and RM down need to be the same color, or only correct for the direction you are trading?
3. What are the little numbered circles on the chart? What do they represent?
Thanks to anyone with time to answer.Ignored
DislikedFrida,
