I am still not clear with the use of the semafor, by looking at today charts my interpretation would be:

Long - when semafor is at the bottom of price
Short - when semafor is above price

If this is the case I think we could have spared a few bad trades, please see attachments.

Can anyone confirm this?

I didn't make any trades at London Session. 20 greens was from Asian session in the morning. Not a good day for trading. But you could learn a lot today. Specialy you could practice patiance! And wait for a trade to come to you! Chasing a trade or pop in just for sake of it is just a waste of money and energy. And yes, you are right - we need to learn every day to stay in this business and don't get burn.

Hey mezingaz,
just wanted to make sure: the indicator does repaint. so...... if you look at the past you will always see the perfect highs/lows... in reality, live time, it prints them but it's still very possible that it will go higher/lower anyway.

I don't use it at all.

if you want to increase your successrate...

think HH/HL/LH/LL

Only buy on an upday and only sell on a downday.

But do NOT complicate the system as today is NOT A NORMAL DAY !!

1.The 1st 15 minute candle at the start of the 4hr HA candle period closed red.
2. The second 15 minute candle all MTF bars turn the red
3. Entered trade on the Breakout of the signal candle.

Usd/Cad 10 pip profit

Also, i have made 3 winning trades 2 on EU and 1 on GU though they weren't for full 10pips as today the market is too ranging and i opened them near the pivot!...

Being picky here, but your trade was taken within about 4 pips of a support line, so no trade according to the rules.

Could you please tell me what broker you are using and what settings you have for gmtshift and dst. I am with alpari uk and did not grt any signal at all.
