As a new trader, will you guys watch from the sidelines today as the announcement is made on QEII or will you try and get in just after the news shows which way the USD is expected to go..???

May be a normal pa totally ignoring the news of any kind or very positive news did some negative reaction & usdx to continue bear whatever small it be .
lets see it usd need more news reactions thoughout the day including bid rates to have any sizable positive reaction or break down to further lows before it rest on a good support . right news on a wrong time perhaps .

A good ISM should make the pair fall....2 good USD news and the big boys might unload some short USD right before the fed statement i'd say.

I went short earlier.
1,4005-1,3970-1,3930-1,3880 on the downside.
And i guess we cannot really expect a descent move ahead of the fed statement.

1.4007/1.4022 area is tough and a confluence of SR, Fibos, Ichimoku cloud (M15), ...

i would not short if price cross tenkan, i use ichimoku for TS/KS cross over and higher time frame should confirm,my advise do not use ichimoku week signal on small TF

I'm still thinking we are here to reload shorts for mid/long term move. I have a hard time explaining it, but this PA seems fake to me (remember I'm a noob : I'm mostly wrong). Meanwhile, as I know I know nothing, I'm trying to trade what happens on intraday basis : long scalp this morning, short one right now.

I'll monitor PA for the next 30 minutes, if we can move below 1.4007 before the news, I'll close my shorts and look to jump long again. If not, I'll keep them, tightening the sl and hoping for the news to push to the south through this zone. Something is cooking and next news session may be funny, or not ...

LOL. Your comments are rather too simplistic, misleading and doesn't reflect any quantifiable measure . However, I do agree that in the last couple of months EZ has been relatively in "better" position just because of the uncertainty in the US economy (QE, etc) and not because of a real recovery . In any case good luck with your shorts.
