I'm still carrying shorts from fed day. So I can long for half position with relative impunity. Takes a while but I usually trade out of these situations, just a pity that I got caught scalping. Broker gets the heave ho once this little issue is cleared up.

Different TF and strategies, nothing wrong with that as long as you don't hedge within a TF or strategy, that is pretty useless.

Just scalping opportunities here so far, DOW and es are not finding any direction yet, Gold is dropping though.

Both short and long scalps can make money with the right entry and tight stops.

es - S&P 500 if you have that, otherwise DOW30 will do the same job.

So if a candle closes above 1.0269 on the USDCAD it would be a sign of US strength continuing? It hit a high over 1.0290 so I am curious about how this correlation works.

Also stocks are climbing up some?
