Not for grashid:

Usdx was at 78.6 retracement of lst leg up,
GU index chart at 1.618 of last top and 61.8 of last leg down....
GU chart itself was at 61.8 (1.5969) of last weekly swing down, as Dow/SP 500 at 61.8 correction of last leg down
And since yesterday (FED news) all equities are crashing.

No need for a singing telegram!
1.5457 is 61.8 of last leg, so let's see!

That is the reason, why am asking.
I don't have 10v+ but Scipionz has a point it is correcting and the highlited boxes shows similar correction have happened before. The channels will provide a clue on where it will go back up but we never know. I doubt any experts will guarantee anything.

Housing market is in the shitter. Foreclosures 2 months ago were up in the 100 k range , a record , these are actual foreclosures not loan defaults or notice of foreclosure. Yet news talks about a bottom in the housing market ....http://www.realtytrac.com/trendcenter/

RealtyTrac reported Thursday that nearly 323,000 households, or one in every 400 homes, received a foreclosure-related notice in May. That was up 0.5 percent from a year earlier but down 3 percent from April. The report tracks notices for defaults, scheduled home auctions and home repossessions.
But in a sign that the crisis is far from over, the number of homeowners who lost their homes to foreclosure hit a record of nearly 94,000 in May. That number may finally peak next year, as lenders try to work their way through millions of delinquent loans.


as for jobs .... well just to keep up with population growth 150 k new jobs have to be created each month .... in order to get back the jobs lost in 2008 we have to add about another 200 k a month to that in the private sector and even then it will take several years

When stock market drops USD gets stronger and wow has stock market dropped today on jitters of asia bubble and us lack of economic growth

dont let that dude bother you bro......this is the way i see it......this more or less looks like a repeat of 2008-banks tightening liquidity in euro zone as well as in china and US. Banks arent giving credit to any consumers nor small businesses(which we know are the driver of the us economy).....

Countries hoarded commodities when the dollar was weakened in 09, now they need liquidity so they are selling commodities oil and gold for usd(just like in 08)......commodity currencies will take it on the chin.

in the past month weve seen enormous amounts of us and japanese treasuries purchased, coincidence? And worst of all, worldwide unemployment is rising rapidly( US, EZ, NZ, AU,etc) so people have no money to spend in the economy which weakens it even further. Forclosures are skyrocketing in the us.....

Sovereign debts are at record levels with a lot of doubt that they will be able to be repaid probably because they never will.

By clicking on the folder aside the news name, you have a description about the usual effect of the number. If it is over/under forescast (expectation).
Sure sometimes this need more interpretation, but at least this is a good start to understand funnymentals and also be aware of next bomb to come.

Well traders , we have not quite made it back to the 50% level of the up move from the big downtrend channel top , , currently around this weeks S2 level 1.5580 level , seems to have found a little support at the 382 retracement level of that move and current channel bottom . Sure the real direction for the day wont be decided till frankie and london get going . We had a very nice 234 pip range yesterday so big days can lead to more big days, may everyones pips be green, cheers all
