they as in the market.......yea that's true, everyone and their brother is long on this pair, this week looks like it may be substantial retracement time in all usd pairs.....once these wedges break in usd pairs ill short, but not until then.

But the truth is nobody knows what the e/u, g/u is going to do. Lot's of speculation they will resume their long term bearish pattern but nobody knows if or exactly when that will happen. NOBODY!
When traders try anticipate where the market is going that's when they usually get into trouble. I'm guilty of that but I'm working on it.
Where is the dude with the astrology chart. Maybe he knows what's going to happen....

Of course that is only partly true. There is definitely something that can be said for s/r levels and long term trends. Those are about the only things I put much weight in.

why are so many traders long uj at the moment when major intervention support is 250 pip away ? i guess they like draw down and may be they need to call on gann thru their Ouija board to see what the stars and moon have to say

Pound will stop before 1.7. It could stop anywhere from here (unlikely) all the way up to 1.66. My money is that it will hit 1.64 and then retrace down to 1.5850 ish.
The dollar won't start trending down down down until 2011.

fx will do whatever the banks want it to do .. as you are talking about longer term time frames thought I would show this to you
could be flag forming with top of flag 1.7700 to 1.8000
If feds talk about easing again in the near future due to the slow growth of the economy then we could be at 1.7000 before end of sept.
You said 2011 is when gu starts trending down , with average months range 1100 pip we could be at 1.7 before end sept. Then what ?
Lets allow the charts to tell us where things are going and what is going to happen at the different price levels.

That 1000 point drop in dj was not caused by someone pressing the billion button.. there is no billion button . It was caused by a hedge fund manipulating the market. What happened to uj , gu and eu on that day did they stay in 50 pip range ???
also if no one bank cannot control currency market please explain this ...200 pip drop end of asia , 2 hours before london started moving.
my whole style of trading is based on volume and candle relationships and professional action in the markets .. aka volume spread analysis
Good banter ... I will keep eyes on weekly charts of futures and see if we get any no demand bars and will let you know when buyers dry up ... for now down weeks have been on ultra low vol = low volume test
