My thoughts are that Brown & Co. are not going to put out a bad quarterly GDP before the general election, so am expecting good news at 4:30 GMT.

Unsure what will happen to the price before - although I would expect it to creep higher over the next couple of hours, it might be driven down for discount buying ops.

With you on that. By some "miracle" GDP numbers tend to be better just before an election. Went in with a heavy Long at 1.5000

To be frank I, don't know. This will become apparent on the London open, I have a Long trade in at 1.500, if it doesn't go my way, I got my finger on the trigger to close the trade.,..

The trigger for this indicator is 0.2. This means that if UK GDP q/q comes out at 0.5 or higher, GBP/USD will probably go up by 35 pips or more in the first 45 minutes of the report. If it comes out at 0.1 or lower, GBP/USD will probably go down by 35 pips or more in the first 45 minutes of the report.
