Apparently the recession is over.... I can't wait till all earnings are out and we can get back to reality.

My take is that the numbers were positive USD, driving the market and thus driving the EURUSD up. Profit takers will unite if not this week, next.

I've been lurking around for a while and thought I drop in and say Hi. I've been trying to learn from the best here. Thanks again for the insight and knowledge you guys share. I've been doing pretty horrible this week, just went live full time ( first week). Before I was trading part time/working full time... till I got the FX bug..once that was lit... I took the plunge. Any of you guys had the same problem till you get your mojo back? Any tips or pointers? Thanks again.

I've got a grasp on it for the most part. Just can't seem to understand the correlation between good U.S. Markets/News equaling a negative dollar value.

trend is up (at least on D1) and fundamentals are US negative. I will continue buying on dips and selling for 50 - 100 pips.

P.S. my first month live has ended, currently +16%, not bad

Risk aversion/risk appetitie. Risk appetite ----> Markets up, investors seek higher yields in stocks, not $ denominated bonds. Risk appetite ----> flow away from dollar. Risk aversion ---> investors seek "safe haven" in dollar-denominated securities like US T-bonds.

just shorted gu 6570.. looked good on weekly. as long as it stays in the trend. anyway r/r looked good.. *L* maybe...... i think.... maybe .....i think
