Home sales up and Dow soaring = EUR doing great. I guess I'm still trying to figure out why a good U.S. stock market day means a loss in dollar value. I think it has something to do with the US$ being the #1 reserve currency.

Same for home sales... why does it seem that good news/markets are bad for dollar value in the short term?

Can anyone explain? I do a lot of technical trading... guess I need to brush up on fundamentals. Are there any sort of "forex classes" you can take through colleges or other sources?

Hey wasupnow. Be prepared to spend some time. You can learn alot right here on FF. Look for the fundies-related articles that show up on the front panel all the time. Search for user NewstraderFX and read some of his threads. Investopedia.com (google it) also has tons (100's) of articles about market fundamentals. Enjoy.
