Lets take a look at what was going on at the open.
Candle one is the start of the sequence. It is a bearish candle that has rejected lower price.
Candle two open and traded down and also rejected lower price and ended up as a bullish candle
Candle three traded higher and reversed sharply, notice where it traded back down to
Candle four opened and traded lower taking out stops and closed bullish
Note: This was all done prior to the open
Candle five opened and traded down lower, however the low of candle four was not breached.
Candle five closed at support created by pre-market activity.
The close of candle five is the market open and when you should place your order.
Don't be afraid of the rejection candle. You have been shown the direction of trade, get in the trade.
What you have here is a launchpad for price to trade higher.
You should not be concerned with how risky it is, it is the safest trade you can take and besides what is risky about 1R when 7.5R is available on all the trade setups.

In regards to the GU setup not being any good. Here is how I would want it to look.

I have put my lot size calc on the chart to show the trade details.
You can see why I don't find risking $385 on the trade.
