I don't know the "jargon", too! All I learned about forex was searching information in English, due to poor material in Brazilian websites.

I don't even know what would be "long" or "short" or "carry trade" in Portuguese

With the few Brazilian buddies I talk here, you can easily read something like "Entrei short no cable ontem e TP hoje"

Exactly. Just make sure you won't be taken as "casa de cāmbio", actually companies (mostly travel agencies) which buy and sell dollars in a "parallel market" here.

They are usually under Federal Police's microscope for money laundry

Yeah, OrionsWay's below opinion (#21840) is correct. Don't blame us. We post our analysis in here for free and independent opinion (without bad brokers interfere or others). Our analysis is not 100% perfect, so Tahshoon or other newbies please use the money management or micro lots.

Anyone who would risk their money on the whim of any single person's advice even brokers without the understanding of wha is taking place and loses 100% deserves their loses. FX is the most complicated game of all trading, and frankly anyone who listens to anyone else in this arena without thier own knowledge base really shouldnt be doing this PERIOD. FX leverage is a dbl edge sword can make u very happy and very sad all within 1 second

i think

a.) the new gbp/jpy tread will get more views then this one in a record time...
b.) gbp/jpy will test the 277 later on
c.) eur/jpy will test the 177 later on
long euro long...
its just money

I don't think so. This thread has 1,297,027 viewers compared to Daily GBP/JPY analysis 753,505 viewers.
The latest time I have checked this thread 1,297,218 viewers compared to Daily GBP/JPY analysis 753,908 viewers. So the increasing viewers in this thread is less than that of Daily GBP/JPY analysis.
So yesterday I have posted my USD/CHF analysis in this thread, not to daily GBP/JPY thread. I will re-think this idea.

Gbp/jpy may test the resistance at m30 chart 241.39 - 241.44 at july 29 (three inside down candlestick).

Well spoken and the truth said by OrionsWay!! I am down 22k by getting margined out and not doing my homework. Do you think I will quit? No!! I will regroup my thinking and start studing the Forex market and save some more dollars and try it again. Thanks to all on this forum. I will be reading it every day!

not on my charts (it all points north),...the demand is too strong for euros and gbp, and the interests are atractive,...from fundamental point of view it also doesnt point south
a.) the interests
b.) the credits (the ppl will always take a credit in yens or chfs, so they pay less, wouldnt u do the same, the banks are only hedging, many small one goes on 100% hedge, no speculationa like us ?
c.) now we know who won...
d.) a doji star is forming on jen crosses
e.) this picture tells more then thousand words, A beatifull doji...

but we might do some testing previous lows, like now on the table...or i may be wrong, so ask bravado for a second opinion....

I quit fundies with Yen pairs. Some fella in NYC slid in a banana peel tomorrow and BANG, risk aversion, yen pairs down the drain again.

Stock market today was pretty calm, but important figures start hitting the market tomorrow. First sign of higher inflation would trigger another run-for-cover in dow jones....

A 2.0228 is quite hard level to break. Waiting to see what happens after braking pivot.... IF.....that happens

Yes intrest is great yet looking on a weekly yen chart in 1 week we have a very powerful selling bar, with this week still young, it looks like a weak rally and will be sold.

And if euro and cable gain agaisnt the dollar, wouldnt yen strengthen as well and if they both appreciate depreciate at same pace in value the guppy euppy will remain moot.
Makes no diff to me just adding a different view is all
