Both Cable and Euro failed at 4H 250EMA today. Usual...

News tomorrow could set the tone 'til NFP.

I'm still short with today's (lame) price action.

Cable today went down 2.0179 and it coudn't reach 2.0177 or break it so it went up to the otherside first target was 2.0288, it reached it +1 pip, a good signal to go up to 2.0325 but it went down again but was bounced off in the 2.022's area and it couldn't break this area and stayed the rest of the day in range, this doesn't bring for me any clear signs where could be the next move upwards or downwards, although there was a clear sign when it bounced from the 2.0179 area, this gives a buy signle targeting 2.0288 which was reached, but rest of the day sideways

Hey cesar...what is the correct name for the currency market in Portuguese??? I'm not trying to be funny but so far I've never had an answer that seems correct...is it "Mercado de Moeda"???

"Mercado de moeda estrangeira" - foreign exchange market.

But the "forex" culture in Brazil is still poor. With huge interest rates in the last several years, the average Brazilian put the money in the bank and forgot it. Now that IR is declining fast, Brazilian people got started in the stock market, still in shy fashion.

You can make a Brazilian fellow jump off his chair by only mentioning "risk" . They still have the vision that "risk" means "you win all or you lose all".

There are several highly educated and successiful people I know that have never heard about "forex". But they surely like it when I say "easy! buy low, sell high"

Geeezz....."Mercado de Moeda Estrangeira"...thats even weirder than what I've heard so far !!!

I don't know but I sort of, kind of, recall something about "Mercado de Correncias" or "Bolsa de Correncia", or something like that spoken of in the "Jornal Hoje", but that was a while ago...so I'm probably messing it up.

"correncias" is not even Portuguese hehehe.... You may have seen "Mercado de Cāmbio", that's also foreign exchange market, yes.

But I want to see where we close at, since we have made lower low's and lower high's today

That would tell me the downward trend is still in tact and looking at the 0140ish area....

Just my two pips...

Well Portuguese is my original language too...but some things, such as computers and forex, I learned here in the States. And since i don't personally know a lot of people in Brazil who work in these areas, I sort of ....don't know the "jargon"...hehehehehe!!!

I think it"s unnecessary to look at monthly and weekly scale.There is onementioned up trend here and there is no marks of slew.Althought, close prise of the monthly candle will be very important,but ... it will be tomorrow.

Daily scale
1.MACD column descendent which shows that it"s suppose to be the 4 wave of D1.The second knoll(pupilla) of MACD is higher then the first shows that now the 3rd wave is lasting.
2.The Down Zig-zag is viewing which shows that the wave is finishing.The further moving will show either up trend continuing, or the beginning of deep correction.Next look at lower scale H4.

1.MACD is below 0 which shows that now correction is lasting and the biggest knoll may be the 3rd wave or the wave C
2.Now 3 wave (a-b-c pattern) is observed,=zigg-zag

Here is two variants-
1.down to finishing of 5th wave C (H4)
2.Up to continuing of bullish trend and forming of wave B D1
