I think I came up with something that you all might like it.
If you remember, I have a custom indicator that don't change direction (or colors) often, so it is reliable.
There are a few ways to look at my take based on the picture, depending on your preference.
I give, you choose what you want to take. =)

Key takeaway TLDR is GBPUSD is moving towards upside after dropping for almost 4 months since early Oct 2024.
So, position yourself to Long is important to capture the trend, don't forget risk management too, going too heavy in Long can bite you if market shifts unexpectedly.

Option 1:
See that 2 horizontal blue line I drew? That's the area of great buying opportunity, the so called Discounts while shopping for groceries.
1.24564 to 1.25106 is a great area to place limit buy orders.
It may or may not hit, wait for lower price at your own risk.

Option 2:
Buy small lots every day as long as the custom indicator is still green (uptrend), so you don't risk blow your account if the trend doesn't hold.
The longer the uptrend holds, the more Buys you accumulate, you decide when to take profit.
You never know if the market gives you discount or not, so the best bet is just to buy small bits every day so you don't miss out on a potentially strong uptrend.

Option 3:
More or less the same as Option 2, but safer, at the cost of lowering some profits.
Buy only if that day drops by a certain pips, doesn't have to drop a lot, maybe 10% or 20% ATR? Just make sure it drops some, so you scoop up the discounted deal.
Don't buy or add to your positions if GBPUSD goes up, so you don't risk buying the top.

I have a profitable stock trading method, with trade explorer attached to my signature.
But that doesn't stop me from scratching that FX itch in me, who knows I might just return back to FX and reopen the FX account to leisurely trade this. =)
Low risk if trend doesn't hold, good reward if trend does hold, buying bits every day ensure you don't miss the trend while keeps you from blowing up your account due to over exposure. Keep it simple, stop your greed, maintain a clear mind.

Different methods. If you're in it for the long term, then it's good to look at it from a macro perspective, but many of us are daily scalpers, so we're forced to gamble in the noise every day.

From this data, it's clear that Trump is not good for the US Dollar in the macro sense, as he is pro-printing large amounts of money to stimulate the economy/businesses, even when businesses don't need stimulation or, say, unfortunately, there was COVID-19.

However, this data is not more significant than the current inflation or deflation of the US Dollar, which I think is more closely related to the monthly fluctuations of the US Dollar rate (especially to GBP).

From here, if you want to gamble daily on fluctuations (noisy daily movements), leaning more towards buy or sell, combine it with technical analysis. But, of course, it’s difficult with many pairs to choose from—unless you focus on just this one.

that's not exactly how it works here...they're two partys with an occasional third because we don't have a parliamentary government...the founding fathers didn't want a monarchy or parliamentary system like englands but it kept vestiges of the parlimentary concept

where britons vote for their local members for parliament they don't have a say in who will represent them as prime minister...that's up to the MP's to vote on some idiots like boris johnson and liz truss LMAO

our founding revolutionaries didn't want that shit but they didn't trust the public that much either so they created the electoral college which votes for the president ....but they are bound to vote for the candidate winning the popular vote of their state...so its kinda sorta parliamentary but it isn't LOL

we get to choose our president in this democracy between 2 or sometimes 3 party candidates instead of not having a say at all in who becomes prime minister in britains parliamentary system

I don't know enuf about Indonesia's political system to comment at the moment but it doesn't sound like its truly democratic since the military has a say in your government...don't it?.l..which is verboten in ours

Yes, Indonesia's democratic system is indeed flawed, and I’m not comparing it to others. As you said, each country has its own context. Since the Reform era in Indonesia, power has been separated, and the military is no longer allowed to interfere in politics—though retired military personnel are permitted to enter politics. The military here once held significant influence, historically to counter communism. The first president was aligned with Russia and China, while the second president was a CIA ally. Communism here was seen as sidelining religion, while the military was perceived as closer to religious values, though things are more mixed now.

I’m comparing this to Aceh, one of Indonesia’s foundational provinces. We once had a parliamentary system with a Sultan as the ceremonial head of government. The Sultan was elected by representatives from sovereign regions, but actual governance was carried out by a Prime Minister. Later, British and Dutch trading alliances colonized Indonesia, with Aceh being the last to fall—though not easily, as they suffered heavy losses and casualties here.

The Netherlands, a small European country, built the largest trading empire in history and became immensely wealthy after colonizing Asia (VOC), despite once begging for funds from fellow European nations and praising Asia.

Personally, I think it’s okay to compare apples to oranges—or even mangoes—to better understand context, not just to psycho-babble jargon.
