Plan Asian Session Window
A tricky day for me to choose a target currency pair. Most pairs seem or appear in the middle & unlikely to show an entry in the next 90 min.

EA
D1 - Upward Ranging between previous L & the LH
H4 - At the bottom of the previous swing low
m30 - At the Support zone

Note: Daily is heading up, H4 & m30 are at the Bottom & in the Support zone.

Projected entry: Long with a Rejection bar at Support

Adjustment: After checking the H1 bar, we have a Red Rejection candle with a suitable wick. Demo entry Long 7.5R = 52.5 pips = around the 1.66628. SL set at 1.6600 which just so happens to be a whole number.

Adjustment: 7 hours after entry, market has moved more than 2.5R from entry. Moved SL to BE+1

Review: Market did not reach 7.5R before it turned South at the first Resistance point of contact with a Rejection candle = a warning to exit there at around 3R.
BE+1 was hit after market traveled +33 (4.7R) into the desired direction of target.
The entry was good. Managing the trade as an autopilot failed (set & forget). If an eye was kept for the duration of the trade it was possible to have taken 3R from the market.

Just sharing an example of a trade from the Asian Session Window...

Although there was not a trade entry on the m30 at open, yet if I had of opened a H1 chart, there was an obvious entry.
TP on that trade has almost reached 7.5R , it has reached 7R

H4 - At Support for the 4th time in the past 5.5 days. Looking for a Breakout
m30 - At Support

Projected entry: Look out for a Breakout. Long at open of Asian Trading window with a Red Rejection candle. Or a Short with a 1-2-3. With only 90 min to trade with a Short is not likely to meet the requirement of entering within that timeframe. Trailing of 16 = 2.5R in case I miss manually moving to BE+1

Review: Within 15 min market rejected my entry & Sl hit. Result is -1R

Adjustment: Red Rejection candle at open, entry Long. TP 45, SL 6.5

London Session Window

Not many pairs left with enough room with ADR movement since the Asian opened.

UCad

D1 - market is at lower 1/3rd higher then of previous Low : previous High. Ranging
H4 - Ranging around the Lower Support. Possible DB at current time of plan writing.
m30 - Looks like a possible DB.

Projected entry: Long off Rejection bar after a 1-2-3 on the 15min & or 5m bar. Might limit RR to less than 7.5R

Adjustment: Entry requirements met 1hr into trading window with m30 candle. Missed entry as i was looking at another entry that had my attention. Pending Buy Limit 1 or 2 pips under open bar price.

Adjustment: Buy Limit triggered at 0720 chart time. 20 min after actual entry was met.
SL hit shortly after. -1R

Notes: Upswing, market above SnR.

Projected entry: Long with a pullback 1,2,3 at SnR as Support.

There was a rejection bar at the close of the open session window, however it was 12 pips measurement of the wick and so no entry made with the wick larger than 10 pips.
Market has moved more than 2.3R into the projected Long.

No trade taken.

- Daily price action still look ugly for the whole of this month,

- can this current 4Hr pullback be the move down later, we realy dont know

- but if M30 shows a swing high reversal, I'll go for it.

Hey everyone!
I've been testing this strat for a few months straight using an emulator in forward-only mode. With a few adjustments of my own, over the course of 3-5 years, I average 4% per month. Maybe someone would be willing to share how are you doing and what is your average gain over the long course? I have no idea how good that 4% is and how much could I aim for in the future.

If you don't mind me asking. What is your risk on opening a trade? 1%, 2% etc.
Your 4% a months is way too low in my opinion.


Maybe post some charts so I can see if I can help
Your trade order needs to be in the right place at the right time.
