Just entered this trade on demo account. Am I on the right track here? Also I set 7 R:R and it seems massive way off so not sure if I’m correct here.

UsdCad. Entered short at 12.45 on the rejection of long bull 15m candle at the high of the 4hr candle. Stop was 6 pips, TP 4R was previous swing low. Despite price went approx. 10R in my way, I'm happy. It could easily spike back and stop me.

Daily - 10 pips lower than Resistance
H4 - A recent hit on Resistance, possible DT forming
m30 - DT & DB on Bars with market stuck in the middle. Long rejection wick. No impulse bars since US session

Proposed Entry Short when another Rejection bar and a more suitable wick size between 2 + 10 pips.

Adjustment: Open bar wick of 8. Entry Short made. SL set at 10, Target 60. Entry Chart attached.

Adjustment 2: Move to BE at 0830 chart time bar. Market has moved as far as +40.

Projected entry Long on retest of Support with a wick between 2 - 10 pips. This may happen at session open when the current bar closes.

An example of a Short that i did not believe in with my marking up. Trade Short not taken. Big Mistake - Huge. TP 7.5R already reached in 1 bar.
A lesson learned i think.

m30 - At Support with rejection bars at 1830hrs chart time with a pin bar. A second rejection bar 1hr before session start.

Projected entry: Long at Support with a rejection bar.

Adjustment: Missed entry - open of 2nd bar during the session shows SL would have been hit but now market is above close of previous m30 bar. Long entry taken. Not sure of which bar to take as the which to use & have decided to use current bar wick size for calculation of just under 7.5R. Target is 75 pips.

Projected Entry: Short from Resistance with a rejection.

Entry: Short 30m after start of session. Wick is 2 pips, target is 15 pips. SL at 3 pips for Spread of 0.8 = Slightly under 7.5R as a target.

Trade review 30min after entry.
SL-2 hit.
Trade entered as per plan & exited as per plan.

Bias is consolidation = possible Long or Short.

Projected entry: Long off close of a H4 rejection bar sync with m30 rejection bar.

Adjustment: H4 bar was not a rejection bar. Wait and see if one forms at the next close m30bar.

review: No rejection bar. No trade taken.
There was a rejection later on, but this occurred outside of the methods trading times.

Review:
First complete success TP 7.5R, +60 pips

Seems this was an excellent entry. The trade took 28 to 28.5hrs to complete. Emotionally seemed like forever, especially after the entries were noted retrospectively on the 16ths US Session's Trading Window for other currency pairs when assessing for new entries on the 17th Asian Session Trading Window period... There was a lot of US News coming up for the US Session on the 17th, however, the trade looks like it completed prior to the news -and you can see what the multiple news events did to PA during the US...
Happy with my trade.
