Hi there,

I have been studying Chaos Trading System by Bill Williams.
Read Trading Chaos 1st and 2nd edition

1t edition is a bit more complex:
-Concepts like MACD 5/34/5 and Elliott Wave are not clear. Seems like introduction of the concept but missing a more extensive explanation about it. Is there any other book to expand on it?
-Fractal is very simple compared with 2nd Edition
-Makes references to a course "profitunity group"

2nd Edition:
-Fractal split in 3 Wise men. Only the 3rd wise man is the same than 1st edition. But the logic is different.

I am missing something or with 2nd edition B.Williams simplifies the whole strategy and the strategy of 1st edition has been desisted (no longer in use).

The profitunity concept, made sense for me but in the 2nd Edition is not mentioned.

With the 3 Wise men, I have problem mixing the 3 WM. Angulation is difficult to measure and 1WM and 3WM I find them opposite to each other. Some how they work better when used separately.

Wondering if there is more tech. books I can read with proper examples or with the chaos book is enough, also happy to discuss about Chaos theory.

What exactly do you not understand about MACD)?
If not to complicate and do unnecessary digging... in a nutshell, what I have heard and learned: Williams just took a simple math from the creator of MACD and applied it to his AO indicator, because it maximally coincided with his research and calculations.
He originally calculated all the readings for waves as in MFI, but it was very labor-intensive for computers of that time, so he took a simpler model for calculations, because it coincided with the original calculations.

As far as I've heard, the method moved towards simplification.
Eventually the three wise men came into being.
(although as they say, everything that was in the books - continues to work)
Angulation / 1st sage is really the most subjective element of all.
As Williams said, this is the moment when you have to break the rules (because it is an entry against the trend), but you have to know how to do it, because before you break the rules, you must first learn to follow the rules)))).

Что именно вам непонятно с MACD?)
Если не усложнять и заниматься ненужными копаниями... в двух словах, что я слышал и узнал: Вильямс просто взял простую математическую систему от создателя MACD и применил ее для своего индикатора AO, т.к. она максимально совпадала с его исследованиями, расчётами.
Это же изначально все обстоятельства для волнового вычисления, как и в MFI, но это было очень трудозатратно для компьютеров того времени, поэтому он взял модель для расчётов проще, ведь она совпадала с внешними расчётами.

Сколько слышал, что метод двигался в сторону упрощения.
В конечном итоге появилось 3 мудреца.
(хотя как говорят, всё, что было в книгах - продолжает работать)
Ангуляция / 1й мудрец действительно, самый субъективный элемент из всех.
Как Вильямс, это тот момент когда надо нарушать правила(ведь это вход против тренда), однако это нужно уметь делать, ведь прежде чем нарушать, надо сначала выучить свои правила))))

I’ve searched everywhere and even paid various websites to get the Profitunity Home Study Course, but I couldn’t find it anywhere—or what I got were incomplete or corrupted files, even after paying.
It really seems like it’s not available anywhere properly.
