Hi,

I've just bought the Trading Chaos 2nd Edition and have finished the chapter about The First Wiseman. After understanding about it, I try to load some charts and found what I believe to be a Bullish Divergence bar/candle, angulated but no uptrend happened.

My question is (please see the attached picture)

1. Did I do wrong? I mean could it be that the candle that I believe to be a bullish divergence candle is actually NOT a bullish divergence candle? or perhaps it is not angulated as I have supposed?

2. Although the price did indeed went up a little, it clearly wasn't a change in trend. If the candle that I encircle is indeed a bullish divergence candle and it is angulated, is this situation "normal" in the sense that not ALL bullish divergence and angulation resulted in a relatively long uptrend?

Thank you for any helps.

Ignored
Q1: NO, you were right
Q2: YES!!!!! DBs are a bet, low win%, but if they work out, you earn a lot. Thats why BW calls it a "tiptoe" strategy, to risk only 1/5 of your normal first entry (SAO).

I`m also a AB user -but can`t properly code. Is there a chance for your nice afl?

Regards

Hello Kisruh, maybe I can help here.

1. B/D/B should support or backed up with higher time frame to increase its validity.
2. If you place buy stop there but the higher is decline you will get short of pullback, furthermore the trend will continue goes down.
3. Be wise to decide B/D/B because its very risky you know checking the higher time frame could make you more wise

Regards.
