It will also take you a few seconds to lose 100 bucks, if you do not know what you're doing.
Trade big until you have something proven, and after so many years, I still haven't come across the holy grail. To trade comfortably nowadays and make a decent living out of trading, you need to have a minimum of $100 000 dollars. I guess not in everyone's scope unless you have spare cash lying around and your daddy is stinking rich. Then again, who wants to trade big unless you have a proven system. This is the main reason why 95% of traders lose in this game. You get your edge and build slowly. It will take years and from my observations the downfall of many because they do not have either the time for that or patience.

since powell comes on in 15 min I moved around my UJ tps at 152.78, 151.90 and a small amount at 151.00

still bullish UJ longer-term

gbp cad sell 0.08 lots gbpnzd 0.1 sell based on 4 hour rejection going to ride the wave missed the opportunity on gold because I break even too early that's how it is too much volatility only trades above open I'm done for the day

trade with discipline its not a race to a finish line or race with others its a journey within yourself.

the odds of an intervention are a lot higher now since monthly targets and peoples fib extension targets are bein hit so UJ should start falling not to mention hedge funds are big yen shorts now

but one intervention won't do diddly squat except a flash crash and dollar going bqck up

took 3 tries in 2022 and that was with the world helping dumping dollars to get liz truss out of the shit pile she fell into

Japan blitzed the moves on USD/JPY at 154.35 and then at 154.65. In my opinion USD/JPY won't see 155. 154.90 - 154.95 is highly probably where Japan will finally intervene.

Did you folks notice perhaps how all the main shit medias are oddly quiet about JPY all of the sudden including Japan officials? Yeah...

I catched last 2 BOJ intervention, 2 things were common.
Look for resistance zone in weekly timeframe,
And time of intervention is usually outside Asian session, particularly NY session.
Set an adequate tp target and keep some position without setting a TP target.
More time in the market, does not mean you trade better!

You think they would be trying this hard to eliminate every Sell Stop for a mere 600 pips move? How about 2000 - 2500 pips? Yeah... let's not forget USD/JPY crashed from 151.9 to 127!

What guarantees you that after the intervention BOJ won't come out as hawkish as possible with next weeks' policy rate and perhaps abandon YCC all-together? How about tension between Israel and US against Iran heating up again? How about Oil skyrocketing perhaps? What about a potential bank failures now that the Fed broke their promise of early rate cuts?

Just two of those things have to collide with Japans intervention and you have a drop of more than 1000 pips very fast.

This intervention should mark the highs on JPY pairs for which reason it'll probably take place when every session overlaps. From US open to EU close most probably.
