Perhaps they're not, but I am. Last time there were stories of 155 and then Japan intervened slightly below 152 sending USD/JPY eventually to 127.
I'm not seeing USD/JPY reaching 155...

BOJ's intervention should put everything on hold, because of the fear in the market and everyone closing their positions.

Something definitely happened and since I see CHF/JPY going up and down, it could be tied to something else other than Japan due to fear in the markets (CHF and JPY going up and everything else down):

164, 154 and 192 Sell Stops on EUR/JPY, USD/JPY and GBP/JPY are eliminated now.

If you remember back when USD/JPY was heading to 152, we had two times this thing happening where price would drop 100 pips a in blitz only for intervention to take place the 3rd time before USD/JPY hit 152.

What they just did now is they have eliminated Sell Stop orders which will now have to be closed, because the price will continue going up.

Now, real intervention should be taking place in my opinion next time.

I knew something will happen, because it was WAAAAY TOO QUIET!

There is nothing out there saying the Japanese intervened in the market and my own opinion is traders are going to take this to the 160 mark over the next week......could be wrong

Volatility will drop considerably now, at least that's what happened the last time. Yes, I think JPY will now continue to depreciate and to what point exactly I don't know. Until Japan finally intervenes in my opinion. It could 156, 157, 158, 159 or 160 yeah... however, would they actually let us have 160? I don't think so, because the last time they intervened just before the round number 152 haha.

I have Sell Stops now ready to go, far enough to only be hit if an actual intervention takes place.

I'm going to play Minecraft now... this day is over.

Thats true but its worth a shot if it reaches 155.5. Small loss for a potential big payday.

Yes I'm not saying it'll go straight to 160 and it's only my opinion that's where it heading, in the meantime plenty of money to be made both ways
