Agree completely. The "news" nearly always shows up in the TA first (if you know what to look for and have the patience to wait for price to come to you).

speaking about news in terms of data like we had yesterday, yes I agree, it’s sometimes just (maybe manipulated) numbers.
my concern is about such a steep and quick down move in cable blowing 200 pips for just a 0.1% cpi.
and more… cpi rising while today PPI got even lower than forecasts, with oil rising in last month approx a 15%
It’s a total madness and looks to me they found their way with this inflation shit: one can easily manipulate it. I mean, easier than GDP (for example).

Already down weekly, still 2499 confirmation breaks and hold may better for next week plays for 2250 target areas. Waiting.

Diamond like swing at a bottom with all good/green UK date, and though smaller tf diamond usually not work, still its bearish, test previous low or below 2499 may invalidate to before reaction high as just spike up before further down possible. Anyway overall bearish., in failure or success of diamond! Success bear target can be 2510 - 68 = 2442 or more down!
