Price movement is not sinusoidal. This has been thoroughly studied and shown not sinusoidal and with no regular periodicity. The price movement is modeled much better as parabolic.

i figured it was something someone else would have thought of already.
It just came to me while i was walking home.

and it doesn't really help either, because instead of subjectively choosing a Period you have to subjectively choose "R".

i just thought it was fun haha

i dont use any MA's btw.

Well looks like I'll be carrying my GU trades over the weekend, luckily my other scalping trades went well, hedging at its best...

Another variation.
The time periods seemed slow to me.
I shortened them and added an RSI as well as a BB Macd to indicate the strength and direction of the trend.
On the left are the time intervals proposed by Moty and Navk. On the right I used 5,10 and 30. I then flipped to the 5 minute interval from the 1 minute. If you are intereseted I can share more or you can play with it yourself.

This chart looks similar to my chart in M1.

But beware that there must be strenght in order for price to move in desired ( MA chart ) direction, especially counter trend.

This is where the indis in the bottom windows help as you see in my chart.
