As debt grows the value of the currency is supposed to drop. This is why the US FED is so concerned with inflation as they keep increasing the money supply by issuing more debt.

Seems UK is worried of the reaction might cause. Also inflation is high, might be wrong decision-making.

for now i am leaning on the bullish side.. would like a drop before the news for longs ---- but i could very well be wrong and get my ass handed to me again so dont follow me unless its small risk

The US is proof that you can even issue more debt to pay your interest on the debt as long as markets keep buying the debt, you can pretend that your GDP is able to cover the interest payments on the debt and inflation can be controlled in the country.

Gilt up = futures or stock bearish, which was the case last year as gilts were bought.

Gilts sold/bearish chart = futures/stock/GBP bullish/long -this is more likely to expect.

All depends of interception of business investors, just follow the market news, we will know.

Short or long for me will depend on market before news, still biased up for now but if cable keeps climbing before news i will probably short. i need to see the price action first and then decide
