The USD is in a very tight range so far today. GU, EU and UJ are all showing 'more' activity with UJ most volatile. There is also a possible GAP for the USD to fill!

Thank God no major player is here on forum. We are all fish, because of this it doesn't matter what any of us trade and by how much haha. So, all those who are afraid to share their system or won't post live trades because smart money will know are ridiculous.

How many retail traders need to fill up a 700lots Daily Institutional Trades at one price Level?
Now at each price level, orders like this or much bigger is waiting to get filled.

Hi. If I get a set-up (s) to short (confirmed by PA) @ pre-identified potential res or indeed buy @ pre-i.d potential supp then I do, re the t/f's I operate on. Obviously against a strong trend that may exist on a t/f (s) above that the highest t/f set-up or potential set-up appears on then the anti-trend set-up needs to be potentially stronger. (All trends pullback [at least] but care needs to be exercised going against them and for howsoever many pips.) Re inducement to short at that potential 1hr double top you highlight, yeh it could be seen as that - ie to trap traders short before the big push-up again, which is why care must be exercised re targets and expectations, particularly against a strong trend. Let price be our guide on successively higher t/f's, and trade what we see - not what we think. I agree it is important to know about the tactics MM's employ and act accordingly.

Only an Institutional traders filled another Institutional Traders but the guy who wins is the one with the latest news.
There is a book i read, I dont remember if it is Market Wizard, or another book,
But the thing i still remember from the story it was the time of Pit Trading.
The narrator said that during his time of Pit traders, they were trading Commodity Futures. At one time, Price went up significantly, but he was FOMO and Buy.
They need to shout to place their orders by their brokers. While he shouted at his brokers to buy $X amount of contract, another trader shouted at his broker to sell $X amount of contract.
Everyone in the pit looked at each other.

From this i came to conclusion that people said Retails Vs Instituional Traders is BS. Our Combine power is no match to one Institutional trader.

Hi Pat i migth have this wrong, you say the MM induce retail to short at market minor supply (equal highs also). What i was understanding is that they induce retail to long based on false strength by big green bar into supply, to give them liquidity for a raid down before they target your liquidity pool.
hope you don´t mind to give my opinion as i am still learning and want to get this rigth...

Hi, If I may contribute something to your point to Pat; That bullish candle body you highlight engulfed the previous 8 candle bodies but closed with an upper wick having encountered supply @ a prev 1hr/minor 4hr sw hi zone = prev res = pot (potential) res...so mostly better to not buy on it's close - at resistance, unless you have the stop below it and can live with the potential for drawdown, and wait to see what happens (or indeed short it!) Ie don't buy @ resistance. If price had followed thru straight away after it's close to the upside right thru the pot res...so what? Plenty more trading opportunities will come along.

As of the exhation formed on 4h and after a week full of choppy market, I think we need a little more retracement until we continue to the upside, and ofcourse the structure is moving slow so we need to be careful in this case .

First time i'm able to make it through weekend holding my UC shorts.
I was just worry about GAP beyond my Stop Loss level on Monday Open

GU been flat for a while now, no decent trade setup seems to appear atm.
Last Day to trade GU was BOE rate release
