I think you are on the right track. Two other concepts. The US needs an enemy. They don't really want to defeat Russia, it helps them justify their military and war spending. Note how just in case they did defeat Russia they are already setting China up as villain number 2 in the great game. Second concept, the US doesn't like that China and Russia don't follow US instructions globally. Both are threats to US supremacy and global dominance. Add these two concepts and you have figured out how our planet works right now.

expecting US equities to be bearish all week and GU to follow

however, it has one more chance to make an upleg today on yesterdays H1 demand, around 1.2350-55 (or, around the 70.5% pullback of yesterdays swing, here)

seems unlikely at this point in time but, will scan the footprint for any confirmations around that zone, if it does make that upleg then can target 1.2475-80

I was thinking NASDAQ would go up further before monday It tried. But dept-ceiling votes and some fears for higher interest rates captured the sentiment.

...over 76.4% of y/day's rise given back @ the current p/back lo of that move now. 1hr bullish hidden div is present but no real next higher t/f (ie 4hr) up trend to enter after a deep p/back. 1hr rangy more than anything right now, intraday bearish so far though, 4hr probably still in a messy general downtrend?

chancing the buy

TBH, low confidence in this trade. locking in breakeven stop asap.

target 1.2480

if it breaks lower, it will likely break last weeks low.

RR outweighs the probability is the only reason i'm in, ie positive expected return. moved the stop already.
