I believe, you are using ...2023 version EA.
You may want to share with as screen shot or set of parameters you use.

Is it Tokyo_GBPUSD_v17a EA you are using?
If yes, there are two EMA's involve.
If EMA Slow (197) and EMA Fast (10) heading Up , there is potential for Buy order to open.
If both EMA's heading down, there is potential for Sell order to open.
It takes sometime few day to settle.
Hope it may help.

The Ea is from the first post. Not sure about vertion. default set (didn't change anything). I backtested it in terminal and EA opened positions. Pasted it on chart demo. The question is if it opened any position during these two days.

See my test for last few days on GBPUSD pair.
These are only trades I found.

In post #1 there is Tokyo_GBPUSD_v17a EA available only.

I backtested it and have got the same results. The question is if it will show the same results in forward test.

Dear Traders.

So, for now, we have four EA's working with access to mq4 file to three of them.
When they have been introduced back in 2010, they proved to be quite effective according to market weather on that point of time.
Non of them perfect and market conditions this days changed significantly. However I still believe they can be improved and optimized
to become effective again.
Well, if I'm wrong, then there is still positive side of this work, as an opportunity to learn things like testing, optimize on MT4 platform
or even catch some programming skills.
When I catch up with Geoff back those days Hi offer me access to a MQL4 programming knowledge in form of Tutorial files.
I believe there maybe some traders around interesting in this curses too.
I will strongly encourage to take this opportunity and learn.

I would say,it's better to use MQ5 but nevertheless there's no available profitable strategy to make an really good EA upon ? Or i'm i wrong?

I know MQL5 (MT5 programing), I know python etc, but I have no idea of strategies...or I have but no one works as i wish So if anyone has an (programable) idea or rather verified idea , let me know
