Hi there,

I have been using this EA for few days now, I just changed time zone and opening hour settings and I noticed it closes the trades before it even reaches the TP levels. Sorry for the question if I have not finished reading all the posts yet. Is it how it has been set to or something else?

When I'm back home will upload it.

Hi Thakri.

This EA as a default setting will close first position at TP1=22 and second position at TP2=50 or by iTrailingStop=22 or by exit_time=7 and exit_pips=8.
Please optimize the EA to you preferences.

Hi Thakri.

I believe the SimpleH1... EA is a basic and early version of the main idea (read post#1). The OverNight... is up-grated or more advance EA under identical "engine", which mean M15 fractal/M5 fractal-filter.

You can upload both EA's to MT4 then open "Tester", go to Expert properties window and compere set of parameters.

Thanks for explaining, naa I don't do any coding at all, zero on that...I did some testing and results were in minus for both of them from last year to this year.

Maybe that isn't bad idea to begin to learn how to code in MQL.
BTW, you may need to optimize those EA's before you test them, which I guess , you may find tricky.

I have to admit that I was wrong about EA Tokyo_GBPUSD_v17a.
This EA was coded by professional programmer and it is still working. It does not need up-date.
It required specified amount of bars on the chart before kick in, which means You have to test on longer period of time and be a bit patient.
I try it on M15 and H1 chart.

Well, I stick to the old version OverNight_v9a because the mq4 code is available to make any changes you eventually wish.
In case of "Tokyo" EA code as ex4 file, you can only optimize instead.

There is another EA mq4 code available on which bases "Tokyo" was build. It is camvcvooV5.mq4 on Simple 3 order GBPUSD EA tread.
I'm going to make update to ...2023 version and attache here as soon as it ready.
Work in progress.
