Hello, Traders!

I want to present simple strategy based on MACD and EMA Crossover indicators.
For trade I'm using GBPUSD in 5m timeframe.

This way we need to install MACD Histogram (21,34,1) and EMA Crossover (21,34). Template is attached to this post.

Entry:

When MACD crosses zero line or EMA Crossover images pointer apply enter market.

Stop Loss and Take Profit:

Stop loss: 15 pips
Take profit: 30 pips

Trading time:

I advise to trade during active market hours (Frankfurt Open, London open, New York open).

I advised to use standard instruments ( TL, MACD divergence) for identification of better entries.

Do you enter when the MACD histogram crosses zero or when the arrows appear?
You mention using an EMA 21/34 crossover but your indicator appears to be a 5/8 crossover; which one do you use?

Thanks

Hi Yahoo

Simple system, I like it.....as long as signals are filtered, it looks very interesting when you add pivots, daily opens etc.

Many thanks for sharing with us.

I have one question I was hoping you would answer, what level of success have you had so far and how long have you bee using it (demo and live)

Many thanks
Ezzy

What is the advantage of using a 21/34 MACD cross?

Statistically, Are these numbers more profitable than other MACD crosses?

I haven't found any MACD crosses to be profitable. Maybe these are the magic numbers. I hope so.

I did simulation and with your settings I get no trades in half a year...

I did optimization for Instaforex feed I use and i got 2% profit in 5 months and no losing trades:
