I'm glad had my beer early on.Came back short at 1.9955. Now if wanna go long, look for 9875 & 9820.Which probably what I think.http://www.forexfactory.com/images/icons/icon3.gif

didn't expect cable to go that low, short order was filled at 9948, limit filled at 9915. i left quite a few pips on the table. have longs at 9904 now.

yen trades overnight worked out for me too, now i'm short at 2020, looking for 11970 to tp.

closed euro shorts at 3565, went long at same price.

Referred to above. But Buy Limit opened again at a lower base and now showing 1.9920 and 2 lots exited for 60. Holding 3 long left here.

Me neither... But if it came down to 9890 it should extend it all the way to 9800 as to refresh the buyers interest here.... This ranging 9890-0050 is driving me nuts

Everybody seems to be buying dips at 9870/90 to sell all the inventory at mid-00s

correlation to payrolls data has been pretty poor but I guess the knee
jerk marking of the dollar lower is to be expected given the street -
especially CTA's have spent the morning buying dollars - watch the IMM
open for evidence of more CTA $ buying

But longs still outstanding. It's capped by an intraday declining trend line.

partial profits takens about 20 pips per trade

10 am might be a little nuts, still holding the same trades

Cable failed to rally through 2.0065/75 and is back to the low 1.99's
again - 21 dma at 1.9890 and Trend line off the March lows is at
1.9900.
Lose 1.9900 should see a retest of 1.9855 the Late April low. Topside
1.9970/75 and 2.0010/20 should stall initially. Euro/GBP stalling into
0.6800 but expect 0.6800/25 to cover near term - loss of 0.6800 opens
0.6750/55 again.

I know ADP figure has not been reflected in price action but I think that the £ is good value at the present time and a trend reverse is not far away.

1.9890 held earlier and is being tested again as I type - but I still believe £ buyers will emerge sooner rather than later.

US, data on March factory orders will be published at 15:00 . Both we and the consensus forecast factory orders to rise 2.2% in March after increasing 1.0% in February. New orders for durable goods ramped up 3.4% in the month and should drive overall factory orders up; however, the pace of energy price increases has slowed somewhat relative to last month and should dampen some of this increase. Total light vehicle sales in the US were unchanged in April at 16.3m units. Sales of domestically manufactured vehicles rose to 12.5m units from 12.3m a month earlier. The data were better than market expectations and indicate that consumers bought cars at a pace just below the average pace in 07 Q1. Consumers are due for a bit of a pull back in spending after registering real gains of 4.0% on average over the past two quarters. In addition, surging gas prices will act as a tax on household disposable incomes and dampen the real pace of spending growth. April auto sales are the first reading on spending in the current quarter and are consistent with a modest step-down in the pace of gains in consumer outlays.

[CABLE] continues to trade in and around the day's 1.9888 lows. It has been a stops driven market after the break below 1.9940. In fact, the break inspired a broad wave of Gbp sales, i.e. vs Aud, Eur, Jpy and Usd from CTAs, Russian accounts and US investors. The downside is the main focus at present and contacts are watching two key areas. These come with next major technical support between 1.9860/65 and 1.9850, the latter being a barrier, which expires at New York cut. However, we suspect any more downside towards that region could prove fresh buy opportunities for more medium-term accounts. The latest Reuters poll shows all 61 analysts see a 25 basis points BOE hike to 5.5% in May, while median forecasts show a 40% chance UK rates to hit 5.75% in 2007, another Gbp positive.
