Come on Please learn price action, the market makers play a game and when you see their plays you can trade with them, everything else is nonsense, what the BOE or us fed makes no difference if you can read the price action. I do not trade the news and never will., 15 minutes after I would take trades! But even then why? Look carefully at your charts and tell me where the traders are in profit from swing highs or lows, the market will go back and take them out!!!!!! LOok ,Look, Look! When you get this you will know what to do. All the education you have been told is meant to make you fail and fill their pockets,I have been there and done that, Erase what you have been taught and see that all the markets do is sucker you in then turn and take your money!

Hello everyone in this thread, I chose this one because I suppose it is well watched. As you can tell I have been on FF for over 13 years, but I have not been active in the posting! I use FF everyday to be up on major news events (RED) .After 14 years of being involved in trading I felt it was time to share some information that will help everyone in there trading ! My purpose for this post is to help and explain what the markets do and how to really trade for profit! I had been looking at the threads and posts and have seen that many people were confused or maybe bragging! My main objective is to suggest that most education for trading is geared to the broker and not to your best interest. If you believe that the market is decentralized, raise your hand ! It is not!!!! Brokers ,MM"s etc see everything you do. They make you think one thing or the other but that is what they do! The one thing they can not hide is price action or price. That is key to them!! Do you know when to trade? And when the MM,s are making significant moves? Do you know exactly when the market is open in your time zone (Critical). Do you understand the levels of price movement in your asset you are following? I maybe making your head spin but this is important, not the crap they teach to take your money! You will need to relearn what you have been taught but it will be easy when you see reality !!! I am paying it forward, If you need more info from me just let me know , I can lead you to a profitable future if you are willing to see the light!

i joined FF in 2006 and i know one thing for sure.

Forex trading is not about charts, i could make tons even without looking at charts and that is the skill one needs to learn to be really profitable in forex.

Charts depend on historical price, charts look different on different brokers =- a person who has noticed this will never trust his broker again
a person who knows what range of mt4 server side plugins are available will never trust charts.

so trading purely based on indicators is complete bullshit.

on this thread yesterday, i posted NFP outcome 7 hours before news, 30 minutes before news price went in opposite direction, 10 minutes after news price did exactly what was printed ion news

anybody who had sold cable as per news would have been stopped out and then watch price go in his direction.

this is why io say never risk more than 2% of account balance in trading.

problem comes when traders try to read single candles

instead try to read the candles of the entire week or month on lower time frames

count the pips available on a simple 15 minute swing on this chart

Yes, people must realize that they trade to make money not for fun. Seriousness is needed.

It is home based job and for most of people.

What they should do to make money ?

1. As others here posting, it is not necessary that money can be made only in trending.

In each swing, one can make money.

Swing on trend side ( 5 or 15 min or hourly for day traders )

Swing on retrace side.

2. Patience... it is needed a lot.

3. Session open. It plays a critical role in making money.

4. Then , the control of greed.

In whatever way ( trend side or retrace side ) once you made your money for that day, say at least 1 % of your capital, quit trading for that particular day.

Now, since I'm still not red, I'll share some true opinions I have on where the price might go next!
This analysis coupled with the notion that USD/JPY broke 145, next week I bet on USD.

When S or R is broken we get that big candles with a lot of momentum. That's the reason why people consider R and S to be close to this particular candle.
