Something for me to think about......
This was my thinking before BOE announce the rate hike and UK PM makes a tax cut......... The rest is history.

First I acknowledge no one has a crystal ball and sometimes the market does crazy things.
That is why God invented the Stop Loss.

But I would fully expect IF IF IF the BOE proceed on mission with a 75 basis point hike then it would spike in the GBP/USD followed by a little sideways action followed by rally.

I feel my view was further supported by the 320 pip rally in the GBP/USD in prior week before BOE announcement on rates .
So if I make a play at all on this interest rate statement I would be looking for an entry on a buy following the report IF IF IF BOE is the expected 75 point basis point increase.

It was an increase only 50 points.......
The wildcard would be if the increase was more or less than expected.
Then I would probably just stand aside and re-evaluate the markets.
