Some of my trading mistakes for this week.
Trying to trade Reversal, whereas the price only doing pullback.

Trade entries are a tough call.
I don't think there is a chest-thumping guru in the world who has a patent on how to pick a trade entry.
I don't either.

Again, identifying a trade setup is first and foremost.
That done, my entry is not as critical.
If I've isolated the trend, if I'm also trading with the momentum, my trade entry is almost a matter of course.
Just get in.

For a start to improve trading, I will try to time my entries by considering the possibility of a pullback.
Pullbacks occur regularly as price is going down/climbing the trend: i.e., price stairsteps up/down to the target.
It rarely gets there in one smooth flow of momentum.

Price advances two or three steps, raise/falls back a step; advances again, falls back, etc.
If price has been advancing when you are considering your entry, you need to ask if the price is going to pull back before it advances again.

I look at my mistakes as wonderful teachers.
Why did I make that dumb mistake, what am I doing wrong?
What do I need to understand here?
Going back over the charts and my trades in the attempt to understand why the market moved counter to what I thought it would is very important.
The answer is right there on the chart.

Sooner see 1.065 then up but just play by the rules . It might be a bit dead now but …. But … it’s sneeeky cable . Alarms are set over dinner . Thou the wife won’t be happy .. trading around the dinner table never goes down well ..lol

Just want say Folks. Gu has come down hard and so has Eu and every other currency related to the dollar. We are nearing the end of the 3rd quarter. There will be fireworks for sure. I have been through this so many times. What goes down hard will go up even faster or vice versa, faster then the mind can grapple. There will be lots of stop outs. What concerns me is that weekends could be used or even Asia to swing price in the opposite direction. I remember this somewhere in 2008 when Gu was above 2.0000. I was long with nice profits and thought I would wait for the London market open. Off course I had no stops then. Price moved down so swiftly In the Asian session, when I woke up and opened my platform, my account was blown. I don't say this will happen again but his comes to mind when we are at extremes. I am sure the players know that every Tom, Dick and Harry expects a reversal at some point. The question is how will they trick us, not to get in on the bandwagon with them.

but there has to be a limit to the fall surely..the euro is below parity?
