I just wanted to say that years ago I was hot and heavy into Forex but several life events happened that kept me out for the past several years, but things are now situated well enough for me once again to pursue this passion of mine. I remember this trading strategy from years back. It was awesome then, and I think its a huge testimony to its effectiveness and efficacy that it still here and still alive and that TooSlow is still around. I've looked up lots of the old threads and trading strategies I was a part of before, and most of them have been dead and dormant for a long time. Thats huge. I'm going to become a student of this philosophy and trading style. Its obvious that it has stood the test of time. That something that I cant say for almost every strategy I used to be a part of. Well done TooSlow. Hopefully I can learn this strategy without too much annoyance to anyone lol. Time to head back to post 1.

In this case I would wait until the next bar to see if the price makes a new high, higher than the current bar. If not I go short. If it does, I go long. Is that right or do I have it all wrong?

I wish you much success. It's a very simple strategy, and you have it wrong. Read TooSlow's post above, and all the notes in the image. Always trade towards daily open.

Thanks. Last question for a while. The current bar has now dropped below its open price after failing to make a higher high than the previous bar which did make a higher high. This is the point I would short, since it has fallen below its opening price?

It's very important to enter right as price crosses the open. Also read TooSlow's other thread "Highest Open / Lowest Open Trade", it's all there, money management, etc.

Gotcha. I've been reading through. Can I just ask one more clarifying question before I stop? lol. We only place trades on the candle immediately following the daily h1 high or h1 low, correct?

Its several pips against me. Have I entered this incorrectly? It seemed like all the rules were followed?

Your entry seems correct. Trade management is up to you. You did have a chance to get out at BE when price showed downside.
