Where is the price on GBP/USD and USD/JPY? On resistance and support. Why? Because they are waiting for their go signal to break this points..so obvious.

I have never been able to know the effect of a gap on the movement of the price, for example is it necessary to fill the gap before reaching a certain target,or is it the opposite (meaning that the gap becomes the target) ?
in case there are many gaps does the price have to fill them all before resuming?
