...just checking/updating charts before turning in! Last but one trading session for me tomorrow, before Sherpa Judith Chalmers and I are dusting off our passports and on our travels again, this time till mid-September. She's a good sport - like's a shot or two of the poison monkey! Very good for her age - she must be ninety-twelve if she's a day?

Downside follow thru on Monday on last week's bearish thrust wkly candle. 1741/42 the lo and a new current yrly lo, breaching the wkly asc t/line (that joined 1410 with 1759) to the downside. This new 1741/42 lo is in a wide prev 4hr sw lo zone = prev supp = pot supp - from way back when, just after that 1410 multi-year 'covid' lo. That prev 1hr/4hr/dly/wkly sw lo zone that starts at 1759 is now potential sbr, and is a wide zone on dly and wkly, and up to 1790 on 4hr.

We'll see what Uk Pmi's do tomorrow. Will they add to the strengthening narrative of a weakening Uk economy or provide some pushback on that? Much good it did on Friday's Uk retail sales lol!

GBP down at a new level today.
On closer analysis, the last level just didn't pull back far enough to make me want to short, but there was a pullback, probably put in on the way down so as not to have to go back up unnecessarily.

Let's see if we end up with volume trapped under the market for a rebound or not.

Price reversal and daily close above daily open happens only in NY session.
Umtill then whatever small uptrend you see is for short
Intraday only.

One of my lesson is materializing (which is, to not marry the trade and hold until possible SL), price keep stalling, coincidentally the rejection level is from a lowest low from many days ago as someone here has warned me it may reverse from there. While the Monday low actually created a new low, it has lost momentum shortly after, market is just the way it is, never bounce off the exact level, it may pierce through then bounce back, etc. Draw S/R area is superior to just drawing a single line of price level.

After London opens, if price yet again bounce off lower key level or the support zone I drew, i will actually exit prematurely and switch direction.
Daily pivot upper end is 1.17892, a close above it also triggers premature exit, as well as a Long.

GU has dropped enough and leave enough room for Longs to hit TP, distance between daily pivot & long term pivot is far enough for a successful Long trade.

Ongoing trade still in tiny profit, price never stay in loss zone for very long, but cant break low enough for any meaningful profit.
Range is narrow, reversal is possible, I'll make the judgement call/decision when London opens.

It is time for me to take long position.Tp open about 60-80p.
There were many bad news released- Inflation 18,6% next year; energy cap; Strike by workers in public transportation, mistake by BOE Bailey.. etc- so it is gold chance to get money.
