It is tough day with GBPUSD today but took a smart decision to short above 2650 with stop at 2558.

Patiently waited to close all.

Then took short but the PA went up.

Not a good trade.

Just managed to get out with small profit.

Overall small range but fabulous profit day.

No more trading in NY today.

...back @ desk to see what I missed. see how the original 1hr flag has had a false 1st b/o to downside and an upside move back inside it to top of it, then a 2nd downside b/o...that type of day really.

..unless these 1hr/4hr/dly uptrends are just a pullback in the wkly/mthly downtrends, and we reached the absolute pullback hi in those @ 26666, then you would still favour the upside at some point, ie a break above 2666? Just a freaky U.s bank hol monday today?
