Sold at 1.3975 round(ish) number, believe this will be a bullish dollar day/bearish equities day Locked in at BE, try selling again at 1.40 if stopped {image}

same boat too, looking if the 1.39780 area holds. Always can trick us, like going down to 1.3957 then jump to 1.4023 The whole idea is always to get liquidity aka trick us.

Yea- I had that marked up as a huge red wall on my chart too

I was sleeping- no excuses! Didn't even have any St Paddy's drinks

We're still in daily supply so as far as I'm concerned it's a selling area until the daily closes above it

I think the dollar crash was driven by equities and US futures are trading down

If i'm stopped then looking for a reaction around 1.3990-1.4000

If the market remains bearish then we have very good prices to sell at up here

I can see 10yr yields at 200 bps next week easily

Negative rates?

Would suit me for a crash down to 1.37

In my opinion it is too soon to opt for negative rates at the moment. BOE will want to see the effect of her present monetary policy at least until May before deciding on anything. Besides, UK data are not too bad.

It is not a clear break man. Price action is still in favor of GBP at least until BOE decision which I guess will take it further North.

i agree. If negative rates are on the cards it won’t be until autumn as the summer data will be looked at first

Yea I don't see it just yet either

Tread carefully, no change could give a bullish breakout above 1.40
