Might sound nuts but I re-shorted from 1.3972 in case its a double top, set to BE, and will reverse long if this is the retrace leg of the W if it reverses between 1.3957/60

Reverse long on 3960 now, tp 1.3990

And out BE haha.

the problem with the need to retrace is the trend strength. As we have seen the last few weeks the strength has been a bit weak. A proper retrace might not happen for at least a month or two.

"it can go anywhere", this is the keyword. But I don't see anything pushing price below 1.3940 before BOE decision which I predict will take price somewhere beyond 1.4000.
Anyway this is just my analysis. I met my target for the day and my week is done already as I don't trade on Fridays because of too much uncertainties.

Am back in short GU from 1.3965. I still wanna see 1.3750-1.37

My feeling is this was just a liquidity grab post FOMC. Yields are flying and not much has changed fundamentally imo.

I think this is a good price to reload shorts- we'll see if i'm wrong. Being careful to lock in trades obviously

BOE making a bullish push above 1.40-1.4020 would well and truly invalidate this thesis. I wont buy here beyond a 10-20 pip scalp

Seeing a triangle form on 1m so i'll trade that, breakout might give further morning direction

Greetings to all you fine traders out there who have helped me tremendously over the last 3 months of my daily lurking on this thread.

Finally time for me to join the discussion and hopefully get some feedback on my trade setups.

Set a Sell Limit before going to bed last night (UK) @ 1.4 with an open SL and TP of 50 pips, woke up to a nice 50 pips gain to start the day but perhaps a little foolish to not set a SL, I felt quite confident that price wouldn't go much higher than 1.4 during Asian session and EU open before BOE news but regardless, I should have set a SL.

What is the consensus on BOE decision today, will it take us above 1.40100?

Does anybody use FXSSI tools such as SL clusters and OrderBook?

SL Clusters shows the majority of SL's placed at 1.40100, if breached it could fuel quite a large rise?

Anyway, I have a Sell Limit @ 1.4 again with final TP of 100 pips but will be closely watching price at news time to hopefully get an even better price to short.

Feedback is greatly appreciated and I look forward to joining this wonderful community!

Till this moment, GU is bullish on daily looking at monthly push to 1.4060-1.4120, there might be the lower high vs last month higher higher
BOE news release will decide..

I am looking for the same target level, 1.3750-1.37, when do you reckon we will get close to these level?
