Change each XML config file appropriately. You can find help in:
(1) JFF_UserGuide_v1.01.pdf.

The example of XML config files:
(1) This is for educational reasons. Please do your own configuration.
(2) Check symbol names and change or delete them if it's needed.

Only you can answer this question. You have to do your own work. Did you analyze your trades? How many? Which pairs performing good? Which ones bad? Commodity pairs? Majors? Golden Dragon? Which days are good? New York session? London session? Did you find any dependency rules? Equity cross-over rules? Monte Carlo analyses? ... etc ... etc ...

Which metrics are you watching? Please show your results and analysis here ...

I do too. On default settings. I don't know how Vicente is doing it. I am sure we are not getting the same signals as him.

Firstly, Vicente has shared his configuration. So you can use the same if you want.

Secondly, do you really think that using default configuration is enough?

The JF4XTrader EA will continue work after you reattach it to the chart. It'll move stop losses as needed and so on ...

Thank you for your contribution.
All the best.

Thanks for all the hard work you have done here joeeF. The configuration options to this EA are truly amazing.
I am running it on two machines, these are the best results from one of them, I have had so far. But this is only one week and that could be a different story next week as too early and more results needed.
At market open I manually adjust stops and take profit to the new pivot levels for the day. When i get an alert and the trade is taken I manually adjust them to allow a few pips to cover spread fees.
Is it possible to put a configurable option in to the sl1 and sl2,tp1 and tp2 (or have I missed something and it is already there?) so you could set it say +2 or -2 or whatever depending what your average broker spread fees are, from the daily S1, S2, R1, R2 pivots. Only I had a couple of sells bounce off the S1 and did not make the spread on the more expensive pairs. Then price did not return and it became a loser. But adjusting them so far manually seems to be helping me with this. This is just a thought as it works fine the way I am doing things.
The other question was on the money management side, you may have looked at already. An adjustable option for percentage of account per trade taken (say a default of 2%, that is adjustable) It takes the nearest lower lot size to the percent available.
I am no coder so I do not know if anything can be done, I just wanted to run those ideas past you.

Yes, I think so too. Anyway, a lot of people aren't able to understand it. They want everything immediately, for free and without any work.

Yes, it is possible. I didn't implement it till now due the trolls were complaining the EA is tough to configure.

For long trade:
tp1=r1-delta_tp
tp2=r2-delta_tp
sl1=sl2=s1+delta_sl

For long trade:
tp1=s1+delta_tp
tp2=s2+delta_tp
sl1=sl2=r1-delta_sl

Can I understand it properly?

Yes. This is fixed risk/fixed fractional position sizing. I've implemented much more. Percent volatility position sizing for example. And I'm trying some equity crossover rules, dependency rules, Monte Carlo analysis and so on.

Anyway, only a few people are really working here. I've got a little bit discouraged from it. So, I didn't release this advanced stuff till now. I'm glad to see you here.

Improvements in a new version JF4XTrader v1.05

It's maintenance (bug-fix) version.

(1) You can find "r" (reward to risk ratio) in log file.

(2) The bugs related to proper OnInit and OnDeinit events handling have been solved.
https://www.forexfactory.com/showthr...3#post12683173

(3) The robustness of the JF4XTrader EA has been improved. If you try to put EA on "dirty" chart for example.
https://www.forexfactory.com/showthr...1#post12683181

(4) The trading engine is the same as in 1.04 version.

Hi Joe, if I select true for MidBandFilter and true for PPFilter conditions, the expert will open the trade when the two conditions are met, is it correct?

Is there an option to open the trade when at least one of the two conditions are met?

Thank you.
