Disliked{quote} sorry, it was my bad. i thought Sgn is "Base Signal" that shows a signal when all conditions have been met so i didn't notice about trend direction.Ignored
Disliked{quote} is normal to bad trades comes because 90% people are using very risky settings who can give you a lot but take a lot. btm strategy are profitable when market are in one trend but when this trend start changing direction it will be a lot of false signals. only way to protect yourself for this kind of scenario is simple, use one of first rules: DONT ENTER TRADE IF TP1 IS NOT INSIDE OF BANDS =less profit, less losing trades, more stable grow but this is also not 100% sure if this is profitable for long termIgnored
DislikedEDIT: Maybe if josefh can put in EA, rule: dont take more then 2-3 trades in one directionIgnored

Disliked{quote} >>>btm strategy are profitable when market are in one trend but when this trend start changing direction it will be a lot of false signals. Really, these are golden words! >>>only way to protect yourself for this kind of scenario is simple, use one of first rules: DONT ENTER TRADE IF TP1 IS NOT INSIDE OF BANDS Yes, I used these settings. But now I decided to try to set this parameter to false.Ignored
Disliked{quote} be preper for big win but also for big loss... if you are lucky and put EA when trend change it will be very profitable day, week, weeks, but if you put EA on direction changing week be preper for opositeIgnored

Disliked{quote} Yes. Of course. We can implement news module. I've got one for my pivot trading already. However, you've got basic functionality already implemented. If you want to not trade this Friday from 14:00 to 14:59 (server time) for example - you can simply implement it in XML config file or temporary from user interface on States tab: {image}Ignored
Disliked{quote} Hi Joe So far, EA is very impressive. Just a thought.. During news or other events, spread can touch the roof, wonder if possible to apply a filter so as not to take trades if the spread is say over 5 ... once again thanks a lot for your relentless effort and appreciate your knowledge .. RegardsIgnored
Disliked{quote} If I'm to implement this, should the time be based on my brokers time that is GMT+2Ignored
Disliked{quote} Yes it is. However, I'm not sure it would be good filter. You cannot use one value for all symbols. It would be too complicated. The better solution is to stop trading before news will be released. regardsIgnored
Disliked{quote} You've got issue with XML file. The EA isn't able to read it properly. If you would take a look at the LOG file you would see it. Please show us your XML config file and log output. regards {image}Ignored
