Maybe I have to read the original rules again, but...

I have 4 cadjpy trades open:
- 2 opened a couple of hours ago, according to the rules and ea...ok
- but another 2 just a few minutes ago...following a new signal (curiously almost at the same level).

Should the second couples of trades be opened?

I believe this is too risky. The second pair of trades should not be opened while the first pair is not closed.

Maybe a suggestion to consider in futures versions.


Edit: I see that JoeeF just mentioned this second pair of trades...while I was writing my post...
But my question still remains.
Regardless of the original rules (again , maybe I have to check them again) I believe this second pair should not be opened.

I just had an:

JF4XTrader Up Trend Change alert on EURJPY, M15.

It seems strange to me since it was already trending up, and if it is changing is...down.

Worth looking into this, to see if there is an issue here?

What does minimum value of risk/reward of 0.25 actually mean in real world?

In a layman's word it is the a amount of risk to you're willing to take compared to the reward. For simplicity you can measure it on a scale of 1 - 100%. if risk is high then reward is low and vice versa

Those are very important questions. I'm curious to other opinions ...

I'll create for this a new filter. It's matter of minutes.

This idea is being tested by its author. Please be patient with this. I'm too busy to watching this for now. By default is this unofficial feature disabled.

I agree, no new trade if another trade on same pair is allready open.

In case when EA settings (RR) are TP1 "0.5" and TP2 "1"
And for example TP1 are lower then 0.5 but TP2 are 1 or higher
will EA open a trade only with TP2 or will not open any?
If answer is yes, what is optimal settings for TP2 if TP1 are 0.5, to not open trade TP2 without TP1, if anyone know?

It's reward/risk.
100 pips reward / 100 pips risk = 1.0
200 pips reward / 100 pips risk = 2.0
150 pips reward / 100 pips risk = 1.5
50 pips reward / 100 pips risk = 0.5

So, r has to be higher to open the trade.

Thanks, I did overlook this, excuse me. I think I understand . Makes sense now. To me, 0.75 is acceptable.
