I think it would be great if we can choose something like a % RR.
Like GBPCAD : risk 516, rwd : 418
It's 81% return (418 / 518)
It's good to take by hand I think.

So, if we set 80% in the EA settings, EA will take trade if return is above 80%.

Sometimes it is better to wait after a signal. For example: with the original BTM method for a buy signal, we were told to maybe wait for price to touch the pivot point. This was only for more security, not a rule. If buy signal came and price was under pivot, we can buy right away. If buy signal comes when price is above pivot, we can wait for a retrace and then buy.
But this is only doable by hand I guess.
I believe so I exist

So, here we've got the first set of filters:

MinBuyR, MinSellR: min value of reward/risk
MidBandFilter: if true - ask below Mid Band for buy, bid above Mid Band for sell
PPFilter: if true - ask below Pivot for buy, bid above Pivot for sell
PercentRangeFilter: buy only within this % range from lower band, sell only within this % range from upper band
TP1InFilter: tp1 have to be between bands
SL1OutFilter: sl1 have to be outside of bands

PercentRangeFilter=20; for example

It will buy only if ask is below 20% border.

In your example: border is lower band + 30

For buy ask has to be below this border.

Joeef, I know you have a lot of work, but I looked through an old topic. And there is an important point.
TIPS 5: If you are going to open a trade with 1 lot, place two order with 0.5 lot, when 60% of tp done, make them break even, when tp1 hit, close one of your trade and let other one hit tp2 ( safe trade method). I am sending pictures from the old topic (from user Ladd, he used old dashboard) , which EA set to tp2 only. without tp 1. Very good results. Maybe it could be set so that when tp1 is between the bands, EA will automatically activate two command one on tp 1 second on tp2 and when tp1 is reached or it is 60% then tp 1 and tp2 move to BE? It would be a shame not to use the tp2 option when it is possible to achieve it. BTM had a very good RR because it set up two transactions and one of them was set to tp2. of course this would be the only option because maybe some just need tp1 to reach their goals. What do you think about it ?

Some traders will agree. Some no. Some traders (very known) believe that moving SL to BE isn't a good behavior.

Be sure we'll implement this. We'll implement all Tips from original BTM thread.

However, we have to follow step by step roadmap.

In this release - 1.02 we'll implement much better entry management. And a lot of others improvements as very reliable alerts from EA dashboard for example.

And we need implement xSuperTrend indicator as C-indicator.
