Took profit on Gold by hand. EA took profit as well? S1 was hit on my charts.

Maybe could be coded some distance in pips from tp and sl..really don't know if it's necessary just a thought...

I noticed this a few more times with BTM system. Price does not entirely reach tp1. You can look and backtest this for yourself. In the original BTM thread before it got removed, I think I remembered BTM himself mentioned to set tp1 a few pips above or below support1 or resistance1. Just to have some more safety. Orders are filled in at those levels, making it difficult for price to actually touch the level.

This is the reason I place tp just above the support level on a sell and just below resistance level at a buy. We need to test this more and perhaps implement it in the EA.

you are correct that's how he said to do, again i followed this and found TP1 would hit more times if tp was set above the support line

A configurable buffer/s with default value/s would be the best solution. I think ...

Not really necessary, as you can see the sell signal in the previous day didn't hit s1 but it already hit today, just wait for market do his job. In case of sl, s1/r1 plus few pips will be a good idea

Technically it isn't a problem. Configure EA only for one symbol (limitation of the MT4 strategy tester) and you can use strategy tester.

However, this is a complex question. Please read this thread.

Hi Joe,
Is it possible to add dynamic TP and SL to EA, for example: tp when price hit TMA band or change tp eachday if price didnt hit tp today, close order before hit sl if TMA flat...
