Robinhood When trading stocks, what time frame do you use?
How do all of You manage stop loss?
I know that it is two candles back, but is it two candles back from the SETUP candle or the ENTRY candle?
When You trail Your stop loss is it two candles back from the current open candle or two candles back from the last closed candle?

When day trading, I use 2 minute charts and I keep an eye on the 15 minute charts.

Hi Robinhood. Hope you are well. When you cán and if you want, would you mind explaining this part a little more please?

Also so you aim for a certain amount of pips or are you looking to get in early in the direction of the trend? Thanks

When position trading, I use Daily charts and I only trade in the same direction as the Weekly charts.

When day trading, I use 2 minute charts and I keep an eye on the 15 minute charts. Meaning, I almost always will take only take day trades in the same direction as the 15 minute charts but I day trade using 2 minute charts.

But to answer your question, there is a way to create 2 minute charts on MT4 because I did it years ago but I don't remember now exactly how it's done.

All I remember is that it has something to do with using: File > Open Offline

easy. Add the period converter to the M1 chart with a multiplier of 2 then open file Offline M2 chart.

Hello RobinHood and all members,

First of all, happy new year, my best wishes for this 2023.

It has been a long time since my last visit here and since I have been trading, due to some personal problems that prevented me from dedicating the necessary time to it.

I quickly read all the posts since my last visit and recapped some things, so I had a couple of questions:

I saw that for the roadmap you changed for three sma shift (-1,0,1) and three ema 34 (h,c,l). is this still valid? or have you found a better combination?

On the other hand, trying to refine the entries/reentries (using long entries as an example):

Is there a candlestick limit regarding when the yellow bar of the rho oscillator goes to the positive side and is greater than the magenta one?

The entry is when the price goes above the high of the bar that closed above the roadmap or when it goes above the close?

Re-entry requires the yellow bar of the rho to be below the magenta bar.

I know it's a lot of questions and the answers could depend on the country and other factors, but some novice traders (like me) need strict rules to follow at the beginning, so we don't get carried away by emotions

I will be eternally grateful.
