Now be patient and wait for US FED later today, focus on USD pairs for big moves. If you are no sure of the direction, the Weekly will give you the clue.

hi emmanuel sorry there is internet problem here and i cant answer and post properly . i consider some simple rule for my exit and wait to see result . how you use weekly to findout news direction . i find out last minutes to release news candles are important but its very hard to use , how you use weekly to finout?

If you have done your Weekly Top Down Analysis you would know what the market type condition is.

For example:

USDJPY Feb01 Weekly before today' FOMC

- it is sideways
- it will still be sideways after FOMC

A few days ago a trader pal of mine (here on FF) who I had not heard from for a while asked me if I was still using the same template that I was using like 3 months ago and I said "Yes" which is true, BUT I later realized that I had added another indicator to my chart and forgot tell him. I don't really use it to trade, I just use it to make me more "aware" of what price is doing at certain spots.

So here's the story about the indicator...

A while back I came across a Forex trader that appears to be very successful at trading.

He only trades Daily and Weekly charts, but he refines his entries on a lower time frame chart like a 5 min. chart...IF I remember correctly (it was some months ago that I watched how he trades) and I don't remember his name but I could possibly find it if I dug deep enough.

The ONLY thing he uses on his charts to trade are Support & Resistance Lines.

His whole premise is that all price does is move back and forth between, above, and below S&R Lines (except when making new highs or new lows).

He places his stop "outside" of S&R "Zones", meaning he gives price a bit of room move around above and below each S&R Line.

I spent some time drawing the S&R Lines on my charts like he does but I found that it just gets too tiring to have to continuously do that on every chart.

So I went searching the internet for an MT4 indicator that would draw them for me automatically. *And the one I'm using also automatically erases them when they are no longer valid.

As it turned out, the best one that I found I already had in my MT4 indicator folder but I had forgotten about it because I never ended up using it.

Possibly someone posted on FF or maybe even in this thread posted it, I just don't remember where I got it from.

I am having a strange issue with MT4.

I have my Grid set to 50,50,50 and turned on BUT every time I change the time frame the grid disappears and I have to go turn it back on.

It's defaulted in my Properties to be turned on for every template I use.

Does anyone know how to fix this issue?

Try this old one.
You can change the default 50 pips to suit the symbol you trade.
